Me and my fiancée have been in Llandudno for couple of days and this place was one our choices... unfortunately the most expensive and wrong choice. Compare to other places locally Home cookin is overpriced and I've to say it's nothing like "home cooking". As we entered the door young waitress try to squeezed us between two other small tables even the restaurant was nearly empty.. I have order Rump stake and my fiancée ordered smoke salmon starter. Stake was small, tough... overall average. 1 cheapest low quality salad potato halved, cooked and terrible, I mean really terrible chips. They smells funny (like old burn oil) and been mushy... Smoked salmon starter also average and even not trimmed on side. To the point.. I do not recommend the food from there... there planty much much better places to eat in Llandudno. Big disappointment

Had a fantastic Sunday Lunch there although all the food here is great well cooked and well presented and well enough on he plate anybody who goes there will not be disappointed. The staff are very friendly and polite and you are not rushed with your food. Yo can also have a drink with your food will definitely 👍 go back again.

Quite simply, the best place, pound for pound, to eat in Llandudno. Book early and be hungry. The best black pudding I've ever had, the Chicken Y Fenni is wonderful and the Pavlova, the pictures say it all! Great attentive service as well. 10 stars.

Friendly young lady welcomed us at the door. Ordered 2 house burgers and a chicken curry - all delicious and didn't wait long for it to arrive. Nice atmosphere (despite it not being busy) and great background music. We really enjoyed our time there.

The food was ok, I ordered pork and it came out quite dry. The price is reasonable but the portions are small if you are hungry. The staff, from the beginning was very unfriendly. She gave us a bit of mean look because we went a bit late (20:45 approx). She looked at us almost as if we were bothering her. Her gestures and her manners were just awful. Overall, not at great experience as this unfriendliness put us off.The place was clean, the food came out quickly and it looked fresh, and all facilities to eat and be comfortable at the restaurant were available.

My parents and I stayed in local hotel for 3 nights, and on a previous visit to Llandudno, tried to dine at Home Cookin, but couldn't get in. So, lesson learnt. This time I phoned a few weeks prior and booked us in at same time for the evening sitting. The amount of people turned away was very noticeable, likely they hadn't booked in advance.Onto our meals. We were well looked after, service was prompt, efficient and piping hot. A good selection of dishes on offer, including lighter bites if you only wanted a snack.2nd and 3rd visit, my dad and I went with Daily Roast, Turkey. You got several slices of beautiful Turkey, generous covering of gravy, with a pig in blanket and stuffing with plenty of roast potatoes. Accompanied by an extremely hot bowl of veg, boiled potatoes, green beans, carrots, broccoli. Be careful, piping HOT!!!DELICIOUS, absolutely gorgeous. Had chips the last night and complimented it nicely.Mum had Sea Bass, she loved it.Onto desserts, cheesecake and creme bruille and ice cream. Very nice, not rushed at all, very reasonable prices, highly recommended.

Great place to eat at.Restaurant is nice and clean, staff very friendly, food is great. Very rarely do I have a 3 course meal and even rarer is I enjoy all 3 courses. This place has hit all the right buttons for me.Black pudding starter is one of the best black pudding starters I’ve ever had.Smoked haddock and spinach pie with veg was great.Apple and blackberry crumble was great.Bottle of Welsh Black ale was good, so was the coffee.
