The owners were far from friendly when I called and I had to wait quite some time to be served, The chips appeared to be reheated and the fish was just okay, the portions were small, It is hardly ever open and quite frankly nothing to write home about

Fantastic fresh fish and chips. Crispy thin batter and lovely big fillets of haddock. Perfectly cooked chips and quirky Welsh curry.

What a great chippy. We were in the area walking on the beach in the late spring sun and needed to get something to eat. Straight up marine drive turn right and it’s on the left I was told by a local, you can’t go wrong they do cracking fish and chips I was told. What a fantastic friendly chippy who sell outstanding fish & chips. The person who told me to go there thanks, you were spot on they were the best I’ve had in north Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 in a long time. I will certainly be going back to Jaap’s fish n chips.

Went here yesterday after a lovely day out in Llandudno, half expected to be robbed blind as we had been all day but was pleasantly surprised when I paid no more than I do at home for the same meals. Large fish and chips comes in separate boxes which I think is genius as this stops your fish going soggy. Everything was good from scratch as I ordered it so there was a bit of a wait, but that's worth it to have hot fresh fish and chips and a jumbo sausage that wasn't all dry from being under a heat lamp for hours. Overall a lovely little find, just wanted a few more crispy chips.

Went to buy fish and chips, but they had no fish. It was not there fault as the boat had not come in with the supplies. BUT, husband had asked if they where open for sitting in and they said no take only. He stated that he was getting the wife and kids out the car to come order. When we all walked in ready, they said no fish. You could have told my husband before he made all the effort pull our young children out the car. All they had was chips and steak pie.

We stayed in to eat. Sorry to say we did not think you got VFM .. tiny amount of chips for an adult..not even any garnish with it.We bought 2 adult cod & chips & 1 child sausage & chips , small pot of mushy peas, can of pop , cup of tea : cost just under £28.Yes the food was good quality - staff polite - clean premises but no, we won’t be going again.

After trying a different chip shop on our last visit, I can honestly say this is the best fish and chips I have had. The chips were so good, not greasy at all and the fish was perfect and very tasty. I ordered 2 portions of fish and chips to take-a-way but after seeing the tables inside and the uniformed staff we will be eating inside on our next trip You even get tartare sauce and lemon 😃

Had a lovely meal here this evening. The fish and chips were delicious, everything was fresh.All served by a very friendly and helpful waiter called Harri. We even had a nice bottle of white wine. Would definitely recommend this place. And waiting for their special prosecco and gin evenings!!

First time here and would definately go again if I was in the area. One of the best take out fish and chips I've had in a long time. No soggy batter and undercooked chips here!!!! Nice crispy batter on the fish (served with a slice of lemon) and lovely chips. Only negative (and being harsh as the food was so nice!!!) would be that I would have liked a larger portion!!
