It was a big relief to find this place after giving up waiting in the slow queue at the West Shore Beach café.The 'small' fish was good-sized, the chips were crispy but fluffy inside and the peas were as expected. I enjoyed it all, sitting outside at the picnic tables in the sunshine. Watch out for the seagulls!

After s day parked up on Abergelee beach in our camper ,we headed to the West Shore for tea.The fish and chips were cooked to order, piping hot/ crispy batter.

·

Food was greasy, fish is not fish, chips are so greasy and the burger was disgustingAvoid at all costs and Google says this is the best?

We love this this place to get our fish n chips from. We have been going here for 10 years & even though we live locally & tried others nothing beats Orme View.Friendly service, generous portions & tasty....

·

Very friendly staff. Great portions. I have had a lot of fish & chips in my life! But these were the best!

Hard to catch this place open but always worth it when you do. Best fish and chips in lllandudno. They used to have these amazing battered onion rings too but the other day they were just normal boring onion rings, I hope they bring the home madr ones back!

For some reason the shop manager left the poor cook in charge of the shop and so recruited what seemed like his mates to run the shop on bank holiday weekend with no experience. The lads were all lovely mind just not ready for the biggest day of the year. The fish was Overcooked and under battered and there was barely one portion of chips between 2 large cod and chips. Feel bad for the lads in the shop. If the manager reads this don't punish the poor kids because of you're own ineptitude.

Only been a couple of times, but the food has been good. The small chips portion is huge so goodness know's how big the large is! They do a small fish, which is good for those with smaller appetites. Chunky chip shop chips none of those thin ones.

I have used this chippy a few times, normally the food is passable only this evening went in with a order for 8 people. Firstly a sausage was missed off the order, they bloke dealing with making the orders up was liking the spilt gravy off his finger, the chips tasted like tgey were lunch time left overs and i had fish that tasted like it had been fried in dirty or burnt oil. Think i have had my last meal from there. I can still taste that burnt taste in the back of my throat.

15 quid and not anything edible. Was so hungry and looking forward to my lazy tea but noooooo now I've got a bin full of chips that should never had made it to the frier and burnt batter on dry fish. Going there tomorrow for a refund. Would never have left public review but had no choice as the phone number is not in service.
