Cosy restaurant with top notch food can highly recommend

Always a joy like the late Actor Roger Moore it's my fav resteraunt also. Plus the Duck a'lorange is superb as are all the staff

Excellent food, good service, reasonably priced and relaxed atmosphere.

Fabulous quirky little restaurant, amazing food and attentive service. It was in the living room of a converted house, very cosy and a homage to French culture.I was a little apprehensive as I'm vegetarian and French cuisine isn't known for its vegetarian food! And for that reason didn't have a starter (goats cheese doesn't do anything for me), though my partner had the snails and loved them. Main course brilliant though, delicately cooked and very tasty.I would really recommend this place if you would like a treat. Even my partner who is known for gobbling his food and rushing off, was inclined to linger and enjoy the atmosphere.

Great food and exceptional service. We were greeted at the door, and the gentleman offered food and wine recommendations when asked, that were spot on. We had starter, main and dessert as the portions were not too large, which meant we could sample lots of the delicious menu. The sea bass was perfect with the orange and fennel sauce, the house red wine was delicious and the cheese selection was very well picked- arguably the best 4 French cheeses! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Ell worth the visit!! Having been denied the opportunity 2 years ago due to covid, we finally had the chance to visit this "little gem" this time around. Lovely homely atmosphere, proper, soft music in background. We had the mushroom, goats cheese, and superb fish soup as starters. Then succulent guinea fowl, pork loin and beautiful piece of cake for mains, with ample vegetables on the side. Sumptuous Pain Perdu and creme brulee to finish off. Our host, Cai, was thoroughly engaging. All in all, well worth the wait. Bring on next year's Llandudno visit!!

A little underwhelmed having read some glowing reviews here. I was particularly looking forward to what is described on the menu as their "legendary" Bouillabaisse-style soup. It was more like a vegetable soup with barely any fish in it. My partner's parsnip soup was quite watery and bland as well. Our main courses of hake and artichoke parcel were ok but nothing to rave about. Hopefully, we just caught the chef on an off day...

We had our dinner here after a long hike. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was so so great. The waiter who served us is very friendly and hilarious, his French is so cute! The snail was amazing, so was the crabs. Would love to come back again :-) lovely Paysanne. 10/10.
