Amazing food, great atmosphere and helpful, friendly staff.. A lovely place to visit.. Highly recommended

The pub is situated on the Colwyn heights which gives a bit of a mountain feel next to the sea.You can tell that the interior has has a lot of attention, the space is large but has been decorated with care.The food was delicious and well presented, the service good and quick.Will definitely visit again.

Lovely vibrant pub with great food and service! One star less as menu could be made bit more exciting however food was well cooked and presented!

Delicious tasty food from a wide selection on the menu. We had fishcakes with spring onion salad and fries - perfect portion size with plenty of fish (often they can be small & mostly potato). Great service and a truly relaxing ambiance. We had our cocker spaniel with us which was no problem (we just rang ahead as requested). There's even a jar of doggy treats to select from on your way in/out. Highly recommend and only wish we'd discovered sooner. Thank you Pen-y-Bryn.

Great pub, v good food and friendly staff. Busy during holidays as a top spot for family meals out and large parties. Well worth a visit

Good food, pleasant staff, bit of a mess up with 1 starter delayed and everyone nearly finished, and at £26 for a sirloin, the chef should know if someone asks for rare, don't kill it with we'll done and serve. This was the only issue, but steak not was bang on. All other meals were tasty and well presented.But we are human and blips can can sometimes occur.Would recommend this place to all.

Fabulous find, great food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended. We visited for lunch and had a great table by one of the log fires.

Sought out after seeing article in Welsh paper which was not that complementary about building exterior etc & food.I personally do not agree with their comments, this pub chain has clearly high standards, a formula that works with similar interiors. A well stocked bar to cater for all tastes a great range of cask ales! (always a bonus for me!)We made the mistake of not booking (mid afternoon & it was busy mid week) you have been warned!Excellent menu, friendly staff & the food & beer was fantastic.What more can I say!

We didn't order any food, just stopped by for a drink. This review is purely based on the interiors. A very large and comfortable bar restaurant, nice decor, and extensive beer garden. Bouillabaisse was offered on the blackboard.
