Having visited a few times last May during a week away, when things had just reopened to allow indoor seating, we visited today whilst on a day trip.We were absolutely gobsmacked as to how rude the staff were compared to last year. My went in and was told there was no roon, despite there being plenty of tables free. She then asked how long until there would be availability, as she had our one year old daughter with her whilst I was parking up. The lady shrugged and said "I don't know, 20 minutes?".I returned there with my wife and daughter and was met with the same rude, couldn't care less attitude from the staff, basically told to wait outside. Having felt unwelcome we left and will not be returning, which is a shame given how much we enjoyed it there last year.

First impressions count for me walked in I waited at the sign to wait to be seated my husband walked in no more than 4 steps ( only to be ask to use the loo) before our lunch only to be shouted and I mean shouted at her top of her voice wait there my husband stopped she didn't even wait and to bebe asked the question

In one word - Terrible!! Stay Away!!!!Had the misfortune of going in this café when brining a disability group to the Victorian weekend. Sat down and asked for two drinks - the lady who was serving us asked if we were having food - which we said no thanks, just the drinks. She then said that we could not just have drinks before 3pm and would have to leave - saying that a sign outside stated this. I said that I didn't see a sign - she then took a cursory look out the window and said "oh - it must of blown away", sorry you will have to leave. This establishment was full at the time and was very embarrassing having to walk out like we were naughty school children. I could understand it (just about) if it was my error.Obviously she has never been to customer service school and is only bothered by the maximum amount of cash she can get in. If she was polite and apologetic i may have been more understanding - but in this case this kind of behaviour is not acceptable. If you appreciate customer service then go anywhere than here - If you want bad manors and ignorant staff then this your place!

Would give them zero . Not worthy of a review. Staff so rude. I have never written a review before but felt so unwelcome and belittled by staff!!! A woman came in with a child desperate for toilet and they could not accommodate a young child!!! Give this cafe a wide berth. Many more cafes in area that are more worthy of your custom.

Staff RUDE and very UNWELCOMING! If I could give a zero I would. We were a group of 7 we were told we could not sit together so sat on 2 tables. We asked to order the kids meal first as the baby was hungry and were would we had to place the full order together. We then attempted to place an order for 1 table 1st and was told we have to order for both tables at the same time!We did not order a meal for each person and when we asked for extra knife and folk we were told we only ordered 2 meals and could not have an extra knife and folk! The only reason we didn't leave was because the children were hungry.I was so frustrated and disappointed with the service I have taken time out to review the cafe. NEVER AGAIN!

The staff are so rude and make you feel most unwelcome and uncomfortable, there are far more nicer and welcoming cafes around, please use them to avoid being disappointed from the moment you walk through Seymour’s door! They deserve a zero!
