Great drinks at a great price, friendly bar staff and has a beer garden at the back of the pub which is a sun trap well worth a visit

The food was good and also the price (taking into account you are in the UK) was correct, so we couldn't ask for more.Friendly staff and good ambience.

·

Visited with family and found the staff and service excellent. The food was very good well worth the money. Large selection of drinks. The beer garden is neat and tidy and dog friendly. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

This was our second visitOn our first visit it was very busy I had Timothy Taylor Landlord which was excellent couldn’t fault it .On our second visit not as busy again I had Timothy Taylor Landlord on tasting it in my opinion it was near the end of the barrel with a bitter and tangy taste .My partner returned it to the bar and explained ,it was given to Martin ,who apparently knows his beers ,he tasted it and said it was fine .He asked if we wanted the pint back ,we said no because it wasn’t right .Wasn’t offered an alternative so we paid for a beer we couldn’t drink .Pretty sure Timothy Taylor would be interested on hearing about this .This spoiled our trip to Conway

On holiday ,went for evening meal I had fish and chips, fish was overcooked, my wife had steak and mushroom pie which she said was delicious . Tables were in need of thorough cleaning beer mats were stuck to table ( i kid you not ! ) staff were very pleasant, 2 stars very generous.

Good service and great food. Service was a bit slow initially because only one member of staff was running the bar, seating customers and taking orders, but things did improve after half an hour with the arrival of a second colleague. It also transpired that there were problems behind the scenes with getting orders through to the kitchen. A nice surprise was half-price main courses, which we knew nothing about when we first entered. We both had rump steak, which was perfectly cooked to our personal preferences. We did consider the drink prices a bit expensive - one round came almost to the price of the meals! However, the steaks were great and we did have a pleasant experience.

Popped in for a quick drink and the land lady was lovely but very busy due to lack of staff. Unfortunately no food on so can't give a review on this but the drinks we had were nice and the beer garden is lovely being tucked away from the road. Recommend popping in but marking it down a star due to not having any cask ales on draft ☹️

First time visiting this pub, me and my partner loved it 😍 the food was amazing and could tell it was freshly cooked. We both had a jacket potato which was lovely and fluffy on the inside, and had a nice, slight crisp on the outside. The team that work here are very welcoming, friendly and smiley. Would highly recommend to anybody who's local or passing by to visit here. We'll definitely be coming back to try more. This is also a dog friendly pub which we love despite not being dog owners ourselves.
