I stayed here this weekend with some friends. The Hayloft is beautiful inside, as is the terrace. It has a lovely atmosphere.Food is pretty good and vegans are catered for! There is also a good selection of wine. Having Whispering Angel on the wine list was a nice surprise.I think what makes this place are the staff. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived; very friendly, welcoming and professional. We had a little problem but it was sorted straight away.I would absolutely return for a stay and an evening here.

Furnace. Went out our way as we read great things. But unfortunately we had to wait a long time. When food eventually came the pizza was not as described, no red onion or olives. Instead there was raw what onion, and dripping in oil from far to much cheese. Sloppy mess, not even crispy, didn’t even look like a normal pizza. Staff were obliging and took it of the bill, but this shouldn’t be the case in a place which prides itself on the best of welsh food. Pate and burger were fine. Overall a real shame.

Gorgeous venue in an absolutely fantastic location for exploring Snowdonia. Warm welcome and great quality food in the Hayloft restaurant. B&B rooms are in an old farmhouse building that have been beautifully restored. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped for coffee and bara brith which was delicious. The building and outside space is really lovely. Dried hops decorate the fabulous exposed beams, great quality crockery etc. The service was perfect and the staff very welcoming.I intend to visit again and have a meal. Fabulous venue for an event.

We stopped off for lunch in The Hayloft and ordered cheese and ham sandwich and cheese and pickle sandwich with a side order of chips. This cafe had come highly recommended but we were very disappointed. The cheese and ham came without the cheese on bread just going stale. One of the very small quarters had a miniscule piece of ham and was more bread and butter. The cheese and pickle came on bread just about defrosted. The chips had obviously been cooked once and heated up againThere appeared to be one salt dispenser available as the young lady had to keep going from table to table and asking to borrow it. We had to wait 10 minutes and eventually went to the counter in search of both salt and vinegar. We also had 2 soft drinks. When we went to pay the bill it came to over ÂŁ20. This for sandwiches consisting of 4 small quarters of bread and some salad. The coleslaw was also very small, barely a forkful. The staff were friendly and helpful but the food was very very overpriced.

The service was amazing! Everyone was really accommodating and friendly. The food at the Hayloft Bar and Grill was also so delicious. Although the room was a bit small, the view from our room was also lovely and our welcome package of food was also really good. Thank you to everyone, especially Josh who made our stay extra special.

We went to The Hayloft restaurant for the first time. Everything about it was special. The staff were very friendly and inviting. Anna and her crew were attentive throughout. We all had the carvery, which was piled high on the plate. Everything tasted good, cooked well and looked appetising. My only drawback, which was my fault, was that I didn't see The Hayloft signage anywhere, so made our way into The Furnace restaurant. After ten minutes we realised this was the wrong place! I can recommend the Hayloft all day long.
