Called for food. First choice unavailable. 2nd choice unavailable. 3rd choice of main course was tagliatelle and chicken. Pasta was sticky with sauce and chicken was cooked to a crisp. Maybe just unlucky but won't be going again. However, staff were very pleasant and apologetic. Excellent views and plenty of parking. Dog friendly.

Lovely staff, fantastic food on steak night, reasonably priced at £12.95 for a good sized rump, cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. Looking forward to burger night on Wednesday!

We booked a room for the evening after going to Zip World, we came up from Norfolk the day before. The room was brilliant, the bed very comfortable and as for the staff, well , my partner has dietary requirements and the excellent staff saw to her every need. Also we were too late for food but the staff got us some take away menus and allowed us to eat in providing plates and cutlery. The beer was super and there was entertainment too! We would definitely use The Gladstone again!

This is such a fantastic place to stay. So relaxed and welcoming. The staff took their time to talk to us and make us feel very welcomed. And they gave alot of attention to our dog too, bringing him treats and a water bowl. The room was lovely, very clean and had a great view. The food in the restaurant was gorgeous too!The only negative I have is someone must have been smoking weed in their room as it was all we could smell in our room all night. This should definitely be clamped down on.But we will 100% be back!

Great food, very reasonably priced and super friendly too.I'd suggest booking a table for food of an evening, we didn't and they just squeezed us in, everyone else had booked. We'll be back 😀

Fabulous pub, great friendly staff. Only visited for the day as we were checking out the area for our holiday in August and the pub just happens to be right next door to the site we will be staying at. Can't wait to return in the summer and try their food menu.

I spent a couple of days there with my dog, it was super. Very friendly hosts, make us feel at home. Super tidy and clean place. Food was great. The atmosphere was excellent close to the beach with a nice view. My dog and I couldn't recommend it enough, we both loved it. 👍👍👍

Room and bed were small with one high up window.Woman who checked us in was quite rude. Basically warning us not to complain about any noise because it's a pub and it's noisy (It wasn't).Breakfast was alright but we'd asked for extra of something and instead of giving us the actual item they took it off one plate and put it on the other which was a bit weird.Maybe there's rooms with nice views but we didn't get one so can't really say it was a good stay for the price.

Lovely pub situated off the A55, plenty of parking and outside seating. Lovely atmosphere inside, reasonably priced drinks and food. The staff are lovely here. Nothing is too much trouble for them.Picture: The Gladstone Burger with dirty fries and pouring cheese
