The Mayquay in Conwy

Visited for food. Staff were friendly. The leek and potato soup was delicious, the mixed grill was average steak was fatty and chewy. The roast dinner was absolutely disgusting I'm sure they were yesterday's roast potatoes the turkey was dull and dry and the beef was crusty hard and dry. I do not recommend visiting for food.

I visited this pub on a recent weekend away in Rhyl.I run a social group and we visit pubs and eat out a lot & this pub is probably one of the best I have been to in a long while.The food was amazing & the customer service was fantastic. This is really how a pub should be run!Thank you for making our first night in Rhyl so good!!

Super service on 29 May. My wife and I took our granddaughter and had a really nice Sunday lunch. The staff were super attentive and the food was good and reasonably priced. Would definitely return when back in the area. Great job

Went there today with the parents and dog since I was home from uni for the weekend. They have a nice outside area which is dog friendly. The food was 10/10 all round for a pub and came out in around 20 minutes which was decent. It was very good value at around 40 quid for 3 of us having meals, drinks and one dessert. The lady who served us was extremely nice and attentive. She also brought our dog some chicken which was nice of her and he appreciated it haha.Definitely the best pub around the blue bridge area.

Had a Sunday dinner here last week and probably the best Sunday dinner I've had in a while. It was Easter Sunday so a good job we booked because it was busy but definitely worth it. Good sized portions and came out quick would recommend to anyone. Also managed to squeeze in an apple crumble and custard, delicious😋 thank you

Had a little holiday in rhyl and im so glad we found this place! Staff were so so friendly and the food was just gorgeous, real fresh pub food, cant wait to go back again.

We needed somewhere to go for breakfast with our dog where we could sit inside as the weather was lousy.This place is brilliant for dog owners. They make both you and your pet very welcome.Breakfast was delicious and the service was quick and friendly.I would thoroughly recommend this pub to anyone... with or without their best friend.

Friendly welcoming atmosphere,food was lovely,big portions and speedy service.

Booked in advance, glad we did as it was pretty steady with bookings.Got there early and seated, we ordered at the bar pretty normal these days.Food was very good and very good portions. Only little niggles onion rings though hot were a little soggy rather than the crisp you normally get.Had a great meal and was well fed , we will return in the future.

Great pub grub and lots of outdoor segregate seating so Covid safe. We were staying in Sunnyvale Caravan Park (just behind) and ate there a couple of times. Pictures attached were taken after we had started. (I forgot! ☺️) All the food was great, came hot and staff where helpful. As with all outside seating, check where the smoking area is. Highly recommend a visit if you are nearby. 👍🏻
