Popular cafe in a great setting, convenient for the hills and with lots of history. Portions are on the large side here and a great selection of cakes are available. Overall however, the quality of the coffee and the food wasn't great and the prices weren't cheap either. If you just want a good feed before or after a day in the hills however, this place will hit the spot.

The staff at this place is absolute fantastic and so is coffee and the food. For sure the place to hang out if you want to meet with all kind of interesting people from nearby training facilities, the local mountain rescue teams and people with a ton of knowledge of the area. All the best from Norway, you guys are rockstars.See you on the next training.Kai

Had a lovely vegetarian breakfast here. Large portions, reasonable prices, and a quiet atmosphere. As vegetarian sausages seem to differ so dramatically: vegetarian sausages here are a bit like fried bubble and squeak, which is delicious! (Though does not resemble meat sausages, if that's what you're looking for).

Nice place, handy for bikers, cyclists, walkers or just general passers by, everyone catered for. Dog friendly too which is nice, and even better for those who didn't bring a dog as you get to enjoy seeing them.Food isn't the cheapest but it's well worth it. Great selection of cakes and treats too. Drinks are well made and thoroughly enjoyable, decent amount of tea in the pot - didn't leave thirsty! Well recommend, and will be back next time I'm passing.

This was the meeting point for a course i was doing so we were here morning and afternoon for two days, really accommodating and friendly, food and drink were fantastic, portions are huge. I also ordered the packed lunch from them for both days, if you drop them an email they will have it ready for you. Good car parking as well. Really great set up, will go again.

I love this café! Always lovely food and atmosphere. The staff are friendly. They do specials too so there's always something different to try. I had the all day breakfast. But the scones are huge and definitely next on my list !The only thing is it isn't 100% clear how long you can park for. Some signs say 2 hours, whereas another said the carpark was open until 8pm for customers.

What a great roadside cafe just down the road from Capel Curig. Lots of parking too. Well located if travelling down from the Ogwen valley after a day's hiking in the Welsh hills. Friendly staff too. There's a photography gallery there too with pictures from a well known local climber; fantastic shots of nature and them Mountains. Enjoy

Cool place like my house after a day outdoors, nice hot drinks ☕ and great collection of homemade scones and desserts 👌... 10/10 for the staff especially the dark haired waitress 👏

·

Beautiful ambience, great food. Loved the maps and books section. The best thing is they have lovely vegetarian options as well.

My first visit to this cafe on a recommendation and I was impressed.Really friendly staff, good, honest and reasonably priced food, all set within a beautiful location. My brunch, (Pork & Leek Sausages, Beans, Fried Egg and Chips £8.50), was tasty and filling; the sausages were lovely and the chips were genuinely decent, proper chips.I also couldn't help but buy 3 pieces of the various cakes that were on display that were just too tempting to leave behind. The atmosphere of the cafe is very relaxed, with lots of seating inside and out, lots of parking and clean toilet facilities. The gallery was also interesting to look at, with some absolutely stunning shots of the surrounding area on show and for sale. This cafe is definitely worth stopping at if you fancy a hearty snack and a good cup of tea/coffee while exploring the area.
