We always travel around in England, always trying fish and chips near seaside town. This was the worst shop I’ve ever been. The staff attitude made me feel I like a beggar, only one plastic fork per meal which costs £9.50. This wasn’t the main issue, the worst thing was the fish so greasy, fried in the cold oil and sticked with residue. Really disappointed.

Chips not cooked and lad behind the counter needs to learn what customer service is. If I could give minus I would have

Shocking! Over priced, undercooked. 1 member of staff cooking a serving. Give this place a miss.

This is the worst fish and chip shop I have ever visited the customer service is terrible and I would off like my food with less grease and oil. The owners and workers are disgusting

Definitely notthe best chippy , the chips were crispy and over cooked the fish was horrible and sausage was peppery. Not the cheapest . Definitely won't be visiting again.

Visited as we wanted a good quality chippy, which we had on previous visits. Unfortunately it seems it has changed hands. Possibly the worst fish and chips we have had. Chips were little scraps, like you would get if you cleaned out the fryer. Fish was in a very strange yellow batter, not crisp and bubbly but greasy and soggy. Now I know why it was empty when I went in. Thought I was in for a treat as I had to wait a while while he cooked it, but definitely not the case. Disappointed family and waste of £30+.

Visited this chip shop 5/05/21 the worst chippy meal i have ever had the chips had been re heated they were hard like rubber they went in the bin they were even too bad to give the seagulls. The fish was over cooked no batter on it and very small for £5.50 may i add. The whole meal was over cooked we will never buy from here again.Expensive and definitely not a place to go for a good decent fish and chip meal.

Honestly was really excited to try local fish and chips but my choice wasn't great at all. Chips were okay, salty with vinegar exactly how I like. But! Fish was covered in oil and that's what I could only taste. Couldn't even finish everything and just binned the rest. Personally wouldn't recommend that place. Also the waiting time was longer than expected, around 15-20 minutes when you thing chippy should be pretty much straight in and out.

Surprisingly good fish and chips in a dingy hole-in-the-wall place. Big portions for 6 pounds And made fresh in front of us. Otherwise, fish and chips - what do you expect?
