Wow is the only word to use to sum up this hotel and Spa.We stayed here for one night and we wished we had booked for more. Our room was beautiful with views over the estuary and Conwy Castle. The staff were amazing helpful, friendly, and eager to have a chat and make you feel relaxed. We will definitely be booking here again for our trips to Conwy. We stayed here for our wedding Anniversary celebrations and we were not disappointed in any way.

I had a family wedding recently with an overnight stay, the venue is superb, and I have stayed there previously and used the spar, our room was perfect on the ground floor not too far from the function room. The whole event was fabulous from begining to end, the staff and service during the wedding breakfast were A*, nothing was too much trouble and all the guests were well taken care of. The food was served piping hot considering we had over 100 guests. My only constructive feedback would be the evening reception, the bar in the function room was poorly stocked and quiet a few guests were left disappointed as to not being able to access the lounge bar where they could of ordered cocktails and other alcohols even as a resident I was refused access as I was part of the bridal party. That said I have the utmost praise for all the Deganwy Key staff for giving my daughter and son in law the most amazing day.Thank youGail Warner.

We stayed for one night in the Quay Hotel Spa, and the only regret we have is that we didn’t book in for more nights. The food was exquisite, all three courses! The breakfast was ordered off a menu so freshly cooked, and you had all the extras like cereal, rolls, croissants, etc.The pool / spa was amazing, with the water of the pool having bath like temperature, the jacuzzi pool having a waterfall feature that was great for releasing tension in the neck and back, and the sauna was great too.The view of the water from the balcony was just breathtaking, sitting there with a few alcoholic beverages and taking all in - it was the perfect tonic! The staff were all extremely professional, friendly, and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back next year!

We did not stay in the hotel we visited yo use the spa. The staff were friendly. The treatments were good. My only criticism is that the treatment rooms could have done with being a few degrees warmer. The water in the swimming pool and spa pool was you cold to relax in. Lunch was lovely but again it was very cool where we were sat. Thankfully there were blankets to use.

Paid for an upgrade to have a room with a view and goodness what a view. Room was a great size with panoramic views across the estuary to Conway and Conway Castle -it just took our breathe away. Restaurant was good, menu limited for us but staff were first class. Location was great for Snowdonia and North Wales. In summary we would go out of our way to stay here again.

Really do enjoy staying here. The suites with a view over the estuary are simply spectacular and the view never gets old! I definitely recommend getting room #273 putting you on the corner to get the best views. The staff are helpful, polite, friendly and attentive, doing all that they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast is very filling with a great choice and plenty of local ingredients to enjoy. My wife and I will keep coming back here for as long as we can.

We visited here to celebrate a special birthday. The reception staff were welcoming. The hotel was immaculate. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent - I really enjoyed the haddock. Our room was lovely and the view across the estuary was excellent even on a wet grey weekend. I look forward to returning here.

Our stay was somewhat rescued by the restaurant.Room - 3/5. If we hadn't got a special offer reduced rate I'd have been very upset with the room. We had a view of an inner courtyard, and while you have to accept that not every room can have a view of the stunning surroundings, you can still be disappointed. The room itself was very basic, it was mostly clean but the shower seals had signs of mould forming.Gym and pool - 1/5. Some of the gym equipment was broken. Nearly all of it was dated. It was a very small gym. The pool was very poor. Nothing luxurious about this at all. The sauna wasn't working. I don't know if this was COVID related but I expect not because the steam room was crammed with 6 people. The changing rooms were dirty and some lockers were broken.Restaurant- 5/5. A really excellent evening when we enjoyed a 3 course meal. Every course was great and the staff, although busy, were helpful and polite. The beef main was exceptional. Breakfast was also very nice and I can't fault the service at all.Overall, even though we paid a reduced rate, it still felt expensive. The surroundings are lovely but the hotel itself is a little dated and nothing exceptional at all. I wouldn't stay here again without some improvements, but I would eat at the restaurant again.

Wonderful relaxing stay. We had a room with an estuary view and woke up to a fantastic view of sea, mountains and blue skies. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and hard working. We have stayed many times and will return again very soon.
