Very good service very good food and at the right price.

Very disappointed in the menu choices and the amount of time we had to wait to order dessert, in fact we had to get up and find a member of staff twice so we could order. Also my main was luke warm but couldn't be bothered to complain for fear of waiting again. In the end didn't bother with dessert or coffee as fed up by then. Service was extremely poor. Very sad about the choice of desserts too as they used to be legendary...stewed plums just doesn't do it for us !!!

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Been coming here since I was little as it was my grandfather’s favourite place to eat in the area. I’ve never had a bad meal here, highly recommended!

Food was incredible. If you are looking for a 'country pub' with good food look no further. Staff are very attentive. My 6 year old and 4 year old ate there own dinner and most of my steak pie. And the kids dinners were really good size. Normally it would be too much food for them but they loved it that much they had huge food bellies after. Parking was good. We arrived at 2 on a Thursday and it was pretty busy, a lot the other customers asking how we enjoyed the area. Lovely visit.

Beautiful pub, fantastic food, excellent service couldn't ask for anything more. I love a restaurant that doesn't just serve burgers and the queen's head had a fabulous menu with something different for everyone not the cheapest place but you pay for quality I would highly recommend it.. if you like gin check out their gin menu 😍

Visited whilst staying in area.Good service from friendly staff.Food was of a very high quality so much so that we only took the one picture of the black pudding starter then ate absolutely everything that was put in front of us.If we are ever in the area again would definitely revisit.

We came here for an early supper and wow, it did not disappoint. The food was delicious. My little boy enjoyed his kids meal of cheesy pasta and also enjoyed colouring in the kiddies menu.Service was excellent. Friendly staff with prompt service. Food was yummy. We were a walk in but I'd recommend booking as it was busy and they turning people away later on.Will definitely be going again.Yum yum

We have tried to book into the Queens Head for a few weeks now, and they have been fully booked each time we've called. A very good sign!! Tonight we eventually got a table and we can now see what all the fuss was about! Amazing food, great service, beautiful decor and a really relaxed vibe. Plus they have 25% off throughout Autumn on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday!We even booked for Sunday dinner whilst we were there!
