Lovely pub, really nice staff and owner, love the events they put on !

Love jumping off the bus and popping into Valentines. The staff are always friendly and it has a cosy feel. Being a quaint little pub it can be busy and hard to find a seat but this doesn't matter when you are only popping in for q quick one before the next bus. If you are on the number 12 it's definitely worth jumping off

Called in with my son and his partner on Thursday night, bar was full (quiz night) so we went into the beer garden, where there are 'pods' with their own heating a lighting. Very handy as the light faded and it got quite chilly :)A wonderful quirky pub - with several nooks and alcoves, and groovy décor - plus some good draft beers to choose from. Landlord (Luke?) couldn't have been friendlier, even bringing out a guitar - in tune - for my son to entertain us in our own little space.My son and girlfriend are on holiday from Tasmania, and have said this experience will stay with them for a long time ..... and we will all return for sure when they next visit the UK.Marvellous!

Lovely bar, lovely staff. Great outside area. Very relaxed environment. Nice place and recommended for everyone.

After a year of driving past, finally booked a table for two and a dog. Food and drink excellent and very reasonably priced, so much so that we booked again. Again everything was perfect, food drink staff and customers. Thank you.

Small friendly village pub. Outdoor pods can be reserved. Good food and drink. Nice atmosphere.

Lovely friendly pub, your traditional looking but with a quirky style , real fire very welcoming. Stayed on campsite near by easy walking distance not a lot of parking places. The food was excellent definitely go back when we stay again have live acts on too on certain nights.

Amazing food ! ribs, teriyaki chicken, loaded nachos, house chips, so many more choices, great sharing plates. Very friendly staff, already planned our next visit.
