White Lion Inn in Conwy

Was looking for a decent Roast and this pub did not fail to impress. Food was fantastic as were the staff. Highly recommend to anyone wanting good food, good size portions all at a good price.

Wow what a fantastic evening, was celebrating my wife’s birthday and the staff went out there way to make it a special night.Food and hospitality was the best ever and will always remember this birthday celebration..Thank you all very much ,🎂👍🏼

Couldn't really fault the food. Service was quick. Being sat right by entrance to kitchen on a wonky table didn't suit. The top of which could have done with a good wipe. Simple things like no butter knife, and having to ask for a spoon for my soup might seem trivial but are important.

One of my favourite pubs.Food still excellent after many years of occasional visiting.A beer on comfy seats in front of the inglenook fireplace is just perfect.The owners are always very friendly.

Great atmosphere, lovely hot food and hot plates. Three very happy ladies,my mum even had a trumpet played to her for her birthday.Would highly recommend, we had the beef and lamb roasts

Lovely pub with a great relaxed atmosphere, staff quite reserved but extremely friendly. This is a pub you can spend all day in, especially when the log fire is going. In terms of food, the Scampi was a let down sadly. It was tasteless & arrived in a puddle of fat (very greasy) no tartare sauce, would prefer normal peas to mushy peas just don't feel scampi goes well with mushy peas. The portion of chips should be a little bigger. Dessert was nice, good quality drinks, toilets clean. Shame they have BBC R2 Playing, churning out more lies, propaganda, debates, fake news, etc, we went to the pub to get away from all this. Hearing just normal relaxing music is better suited, BBC Radio 2 is not right for this setting.

Absolutely incredible food here and very generous portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and when we visit Wales again we would totally go here again

A superb lunch at the White Lion. Friendly service and great food and beer. The special beef chasseur was outstanding for both quality and quantity (just managed to finish it!). Well worth the drive or, as in our case, the hike up from Colwyn Bay.

Great little find. Lovely homely atmosphere and wonderful character. Friendly owners and a welcome fire for cold winter days. The cat tolerates fuss too. Will definitely return on my next visit to the area.
