Great little pub with lovely staff and locals are a hoot! The Purple Moose on tap was excellent.

Seriously good chips! Absolutely no nonsense food and mega tasty, excellent atmosphere if you're looking for a proper local pub. Great beer and friendly. Highly recommend.

Great little locals pub. We stopped in for a quick drink, and pub atmosphere was quite welcoming. Staff was very friendly.When in the area again, we would definitely make a return visit.

Delicious home cooked food, at fair prices, in a nice little local pub, with friendly, welcoming staff.Wish I'd had dinner here on my second night as well, instead of trying out the overpriced hotel restaurant down the street.

Loved this pub. Friendly hosts. Dog friendly which is a must for me. Home cooked food which i enjoyed. Good choice of wine,beer and spirits. Lovely open fire.

Nice country pub with a really friendly service and some good ales. Disappointingly the food seemed to be just microwaved. My pie was basically a bowl of gravy with a few lumps of steak and a huge puff pastry topper. The vegetables were overcooked and grey, whilst the chips were barely off-white and undercooked. The burning hot plates a telltale sign of how they were prepared. Friends faired similarly poorly with their lasagnas. A real shame as with some lovely cooked food this place could be a real draw.

A nice pub and dining room. We had beef pie, chicken pie, chicken curry and beef lasagne. They were all really tasty. The pie was delicious! Would recommend going here.
