Nice place but toilets need refurbished

Popped in on Sat for a drink with 3 others stood at the bar waiting to be served as the bar maid was already serving someone, when that person went the bar maid took 1 look at me then walked off no acknowledgement of I'll serve you in a second another girl was counting bags of 10p's so we just walked out and went to the Hand and had a fantastic rest of the evening cheers Benson's won't see us again.

Absolutely love this place, from the minute you walk inside it's got the wow factor, all the trinkets hanging around . Then the view when you sit out the back is breathtaking. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We always go here when we go to Llangollen it's our favourite place .

A lovely pub with friendly, helpful staff. I spent the afternoon looking out the window over the river. Will definitely come again

Good to watch the sport and play pool with a few beers. Good for stag, hens and housing association. Rooms and toilets are very tired. Don't book for a romantic weekend with your partner or you will end up in the dog house.....literally and figuratively

A very interesting pub with plenty of things to look at while enjoying a drink. Everything is hanging from the ceiling. They are dog friendly here and it's very comfy. They show live sport and have large windows which can be slid back in the summer. The rooms upstairs look good and over look the river but unfortunately they have no carpark.

Very nice building with some great collectables on display. There's a pool table & some great views of the River Dee. Food is good & a good selection of beers wines & spirits. In comparison to most other pubs in the town it is really expensive but it is a vet nice pub.
