Berwyn Restaurant in Denbighshire

As good as anywhere I've ever eaten, and yes that does include a few Michelin starred eateries, truely gorgeous food and sweets. Owners are the only staff, the gentleman is chef and lady front of house, they are very attentive and really care that your food is enjoyed. SUPERB.

If I could, I would give 50/5 stars: this was one of the best dinners I had in Wales. We had black pudding for starter which was accompanied with guacamole with really nice taste balance and then all the table had racks of lamb which was literally melting in your mouth... Then we had some European deserts to share that we beautifully executed. the dinner was spectacular! All the ingredients were absolutely stunning and I have to confess this restaurant has definitely went above any expectations we had and we are a pretty spoiled bunch! If I could I would come here again and again! The chef and the manager here were very welcoming.This is a road to success! Well done and all the best!

Just amazing!!! Food was absolutely beautiful.Very ,friendly bubbly owner Caroline made our experience fantastic.Het husband Chris is the chef and the couple run the place ,superbly and on their own ..Myself my wife and our friend celebrated our 46th Anniversary there last weekend ..We WILL.be visiting again with anticipation!!

We had a great time at The Berwyn! Every dish was carefully prepared, homemade goodness. A great selection of meat, fish and vegetarian - and you must try the garlic bread and dauphinois! Caroline was an excellent hostess.

We have eaten here a number of times now and every time we have been greeted happily and offered some really good food. Starters for me don't have many options I would choose from but that's me. Mains and desserts have lots to choose from and I'm yet to be disappointed.This is an unassuming restaurant with only a few tables so booking ahead is recommended.

Brilliant food and helpful friendly staff. The Sunday roast was the best I'd eaten in wales so far. Will be back to work through the rest of the menu

Fantastic food and service upon our visit last week. Very attentive and (medium) rare that a chef comes out to check his meals are okay for the customers, great touch 👌...we went for the Black Pudding Stack and Mushroom/Goat's cheese to start with steak and lamb for mains. Great portions as well and is a must for any visit or stay nearby!

This is by far the nicest restaurant I have ever been to.Run by a husband and wife. The wife hosts, the husband cooks and the are both brilliant at their jobs. The food is fantastic and oh my, the puddings 😍Clean, tidy and friendly. Very much worth a visit!
