Blue Lion Hotel in Denbighshire

Fantastic pub in a great location with awesome food, service and entertainment.We were lucky to come across the Blue Lion after friends had also had a great experience there from a previous visit.You get a really friendly local feeling from the staff and the customers who are happy to share ideas of what to do in the area.They have a great menu and were more than happy to support specific dietary requirements.Would highly recommend along with the accomodation which is also available amazing.

What a fabulous weekend we have had staying in the beautiful 3 bedroom Blue Lion apartment this weekend . Very well presented, very clean and well equipped. Wonderful spa pool and only a very short walk to the Blue Lion pub for great food and friendly locals. Located in a beautiful part of Wales with stunning local walks. Would highly recommend

One of the best places to eat up this way!! Good portions, friendly staff and great service. Sunday lunch is brilliant and regular menu is always top tier. Massively recommended

We stayed in apartment 2 for two nights, had a lovely time everything was up to high standards!Everyone was so welcoming and very polite made us feel very welcome!Will definitely be returning,really enjoyed it highly recommend👌☺️

Great menu with plenty of choice and the food was fantastic.Clean pub and friendly service, we visited over the bank holiday with a singer for entertainment which provided a great atmosphere.The accomodation is pristine, well layed out with tasteful decor, with the added bonus of a hot tubHighly recommended

Stopped here for an evening meal after a day out. They managed to fit us in on a bank holiday fab!Upon first impressions the pub appeared very cosy with a country village pub vibe. This was nice, upon entering the dining area we were greeted by the feel of a very cosy country room with very little noise. It was a nice atmosphere. The lovely staff members who where attentive to us all evening presented us with menus. I expected a classic pub menu, I was very wrong. The menu was a vast range of top meal options such as salmon, King prawns, Wellington absolutely fabulous for choice.The food arrived and as pictured I was absolutely blown away by the fantastic presentation and the quality was top notch. We were SUPER impressed by the food and service from this very traditional looking place. This is easily better than some of the top chain restaurants that I have visited and certainly had a fantastic team.Thank you.

Sadly let down, food was all far to deep fried and a really long wait between courses with other tables getting there food before us! Also half of the meal didn’t turn up: We have eaten before and was very nice. Sadly not this time!

What a beautiful little gem of a place. The area surrounding is typically Welsh hills, absolutely gorgeous. Entered a snug, old world pub. Was made to feel welcome from the first drink. The regulars are colourful and engaging. We stayed for a meal and were not disappointed in the slightest, so much so we also choose to eat here night two. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I stayed here for one night with my fiance and our 2 dogs. From the second we entered we received a very friendly welcome and was treated like royalty throughout our stay. The food was excellent and very well presented and our room and the bar area was very clean and well furnished. The room had WiFi and a smart TV that allowed access to Netflix. I would highly recommend this hotel.
