We are regular visitors to this cafe. Food is usually nice but today I witnessed a particular staff member being extremely rude. She was disgruntled that a couple had sat down without track and trace, they said they hadn't seen the sign and would do it at the table. This did not satisfied the waitress and she was unnecessarily banging on that there was a sign.This couple were wearing masks, they were happy to complete the track and trace but she kept on at them poor chaps. In the end they left. After they left she continued to talk about the couple to us and other customers as if to blame them for the altercation.its not clear what she wanted the couple to do, get up and give the details by the door and sit down again?and don't talk about your customers to other customers after you have harassed them enough to leave. I heard one of the couple say it's not the rules she objected to it was the waitresses manner. I would have been affronted too.If you like good food and good service head to sugar plum 5 minutes down the road.

I was here last Tuesday.Ordered the big Breckfast.Very good quality sausages (2)Poached eggs not fried (2) nice change and nicely done,Two small slices of bacon.Two big hole mushrooms not a lot of small ones.Half a dozen small tomatoes,Two slices of Black Pudding,Small dish of baked beans and four small slices of toast.Very good and refreshing pot of tea.Very pleasant and friendly young lady waitress,good cheerfull atmosphere.I shall be back for the Homemade Pie of the Day.The Turkey and Bacon Pie sounds lovely !

I would recommend that you eat elsewhere based on my visit with a workmate last Sunday.The 'Welsh' breakfast was rubbish; small bacon rashers, one lousy mushroom, poor quality hash brown, sausages were dense - like they had been pre cooked and rewarmed, poached eggs were over cooked..and the toast served without butter?? We ordered to take out and were informed they had no takeaway knives or forks..I regret turning down a reciept as I'm sure we were overcharged. Two poor breakfasts, two stale cakes, a coffee and a can of coke totalling over £25.As others have said, why are they serving Costa coffee (which is terrible IMHO)?I will be avoiding this place in the future.The queue outside Chatwins was probably telling.

Lovely venue, friendly staff but dreadful food. I had a fishfinger butty. The batter was really thick and soggy and the bread roll was super budget and sweet tasting. All in all a soggy mess. Also why would you serve Costa Coffee when there are some amazing coffee roasters in nth Wales. Bizarre.

Nice food reasonably priced. They also allowed my two cockapoos inside the cafe, which was a big plus.

This is a lovely cafe the food is very good and the atmosphere is very chill. I would definitely recomend this place for a bite to eat and a chill cup of coffee. I would also recommend the special Cafe R burger!!

Quite a large place, high ceiling and big windows so an "airy" feeling! Pleasant staff, excellent coffee and a great selection of cakes - mostly homemade, I think!An excellent venue for elevenses!

The staff in this place wouldn't help with our queries, they were rude and disrespectful. They wouldn't let us get what we wanted using excuses like "we don't have this" or "we have run out of this food" they were inappropriate and lied to us. The male toilets had urine on the baby changer and all over the seats. The food was disgusting and no one on our table ate there food, the prices were extortionate and filled with sides. The food was burnt on one side and raw on the other, the menus were upside down and not in English so I do not know what I was ordering. This is unacceptable and outrageous and we will never come back.
