Three weeks in a row delivered 10/10 fish and chips.. Making a morbedly obese man incredibly happy again..

Usually a really nice place to order from. Sadly today we have placed an order and although the fish and chip shop added 30 mins onto our delivery time, we went ahead with it. Theres no problem in waiting an hour for food...right?That has now turned into 2 hours, still no sign of food, spoke to someone and heard that they are waiting on a delivery driver. Tried calling back and no answer.Still hungry...

I really like the people who have got this chippy. Have been using it for past 30 years when charlie had it, the only thing i would say you never get your full order. There is either chips missing or a fish missing. But still take your money

It is rare for me to be so negative but this is the worst fish and chips I've tasted in my life. School dinners are better. We got two saveloys, battered cod and a portion of chips. The chips had clearly been cooked about 4 times. They were coated in grease and rock solid on the outside. There was no flavour except for grease. The battered fish was really just fish with a bit of flour sprinkled on it. However the absolute worst bit were the saveloys which have actually put me off for life. The sausage inside tasted weird and was rubber instead of soft but the outside... The outside was like wood. It hurt my teeth to take a bite. We had a bloody battle with the saveloys! On top of that, it was more pricey than other chippies in the area. I should have walked out after looking at the cleanliness inside. The food is as grotty as the decor. Avoid at all costs.

Had takeaway quite a few times from here, we are pretty much regulars! Haven't got one complaint! Been spot on every time, even on busy weekends! Just had another and thanks again. Excellent food, Bells road

I've just been reading reviews and they all looked good, then someone posted that they only had grade 1 from food hygiene. I looked online, thinking it was perhaps disgruntled competition, but they have actually a big fat Zero. So I'll eat elsewhere today... Photo of results posted on their photos. Sorry Charlie's.
