Great traditional pub, nice styling with separate rooms. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere for late afternoon refreshment. Nice pint of Flintshire ale, will certainly return.

Smartest and most civilised pub in town. Not quite the most expensive, but there are several alternatives where those who consider price to be a stronger factor in their choice of hostelry.

Great pub : selection of really good beers including mild and bitter.Darts and pool set up properly In a separate room. Televisions in every room and bar.Large outside area ,dog friendly with sun and sheltered areas ,one with heat lamps.

Nice pub with a choice of 3 great real ales. Lots of little nooks & crannies to sit & enjoy your beer. Pool table available, but in it's own room so does not interfere with a quiet pint. Did not see food or cobs available, but if I missed them could be worth 5 stars.
