Our personal review. My friends and I stopped going to this carvery 2 months ago due to the meat carver slicing very skinny crumbly small amounts of meat. Both myself, friends and people in the queue asked the meat carver why are you carving skinny less amounts of meat not impressed. Meat carver said the manager told us to. Prices have increased and you get less meat now. Carrots and broccoli are hard. Mash potato tastes like instant mash. Stuffing balls are hard and tiny and you are not allowed to serve yourself. Roast potato's are small, dried out and hard. All tastes like frozen packaged food. Meat seems steam cooked and tasteless. Carvery is over priced. Not good quality. Not value for money. Not as good as it used to be. We won't be going back again.

Lovely cosy place with some seriously tasty hot chocolates! The lovely team working here are a credit to the company, as they seem very knowledgeable and earnest. The most approachable in the industry and extremely hard working to do the best for you. Thanks very much to the lovely Jodie and co. for a lovely visit!

Booked a table for ten for a family meal.We initially asked if the restaurant was dog friendly as we had four dogs with us. The manager assured us that it was fine but we would have to wait for a table to become available in the dog friendly area. We arrived and sat down with drinks and ordered our meals. There was quite a lengthy wait for the food to arrive but it was very good quality and well worth the wait. One small criticism was the positioning of the speakers in the room. They do live entertainment at the weekend, and the speakers were very loud.Fortunately, the staff did turn down the volume and we carried on enjoying our meals in pleasant surroundings.Four stars but take nothing away from the food. If we were ever in Prestatyn again, I wouldn't hesitate in going back there for a meal.Would definitely recommend.

Great staff, lovely pub, nice play area for the kids. One meal was slightly overdone and took a while but was given free dessert as an apology. Overall brilliant pub and the rest of the food was just perfect. Would definitely recommend

A decent breakfast as part of the all you can eat.Couple of the plates needed cleaning as had sauce or something left on it.Bit disappointed that the unlimited drinks offer was not explained and overcharged for our drinks (£2.50 for a tea when unlimited was £1.99....asked the staff but 2 we asked were new that day and they didn't get back to us like they said) So sadly what could have been a much higher rating was marred by a couple of oversights.

Came here after waiting 4 hours for a train from Prestatyn because kids needed toilet, we're very cold and hungry.Price wise, it was fantastic pricing, £39 for 1 adult and 3 kids, 4 drinks and deserts.Food - out of this world, its been a long time since I had such great food, it was deliciousBuilding - Very welcoming and very clean, play area for kids to the frontStaff - Lady with long blonde hair I'm guessing was the manager or person in charge simply because she was guiding the staff members was lovely and polite, she appeared to have a great relationship with the staff and same for the staff, all staff were fantastic, welcoming, young girl who welcomed us assisted me with pram and got kids some colouring crayons and paper, they really were amazingOverall - I loved this place, the kids did and I never even knew it existed until a lady at the station mentioned it to me, I will 100% come back again.Well done guys, keep up the hard work, it is absolutely paying off, I'd give you all 10 stars if I could ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Visiting the area ...came here for an evening meal ...mainly because you can take dogs in here while you eat.. which is a real bonus for us...although You do have to book a table in the doggy area ......we had a large carvery each ..and it was excellent value for money...plenty of meat ( plenty to share wirh Finn ..our dog ..which he thoroughly enjoyed)...and a good choice of vegetables too...our only criticism was a label on which gravy is which would be helpful...would definitely recommend and return next time we are in the area...just to add went the following night ...without the dog ..had another enjoyable meal ...again the staff were very friendly

We came for sunday lunch last week whilst we were on holiday in North Wales, this pub is family friendly, serves lovely food at reasonable prices and the staff were welcoming. We asked for a veggie option in the sunday lunch and therefor had to wait a little while longer, but the food was lovely, my 7 year old especially loved the gammon! There is a little playpark outside for children to play in, parking is roght next to it but it looked as though parking charges were in place between 8-5pm, we came at 5pm so didn't pay for the parking. Would definitely recommend this place to people visiting the area.

Great food, amazing choices. Really good drinks too (slushie cocktails!!!!) We had a carvery which was amazing, Lee served us at the carvery bar and he was extremely pleasant and was asking about what we was up to for the day etc which was lovely! Great food and service. The guy who seated us and lady who took our order was amazing too, we will be back very soon!! 👍
