Had lunch here today and it was lovely, if l lived in the area l would definitely go there again, and look at the view amazing place 😊

Great range of local and localish Cask Ales. The brocoli soup was superb. Friendly service and excellent views over the river to the Llangollen Railway

What a lovely place! Plenty of seating, inside and out, and dog friendly. A variety of delicious dishes from starters to full meals, and different.Friendly staff. All in all very pleasant and worth a visit ( or two!).

Food was great. Plenty of veggie choices too. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommended.

Really warm and welcoming atmosphere, food was brilliant. My leek and potato soup was obviously so freshly made, and the goats cheese quiche was really subtle, very nice! Staff were friendly and efficient even though it was very busy. Lovely view over the river too. Super dog friendly with nice rugs and water bowls.

A delightful food delight over looking the river Dee , The food was fresh and inviting you to savour each sensual mouthful ( Crispy beef salad ) The place had great tranquil energy and the staff were warm & friendly a home from home that Mrs Doubtfire would have been proud to call her own ! wholesome & wonderful , A diamond of a place sparkling by the river 🤩 💎

Beautiful setting. Gorgeous food at a really reasonable price and the best chicken burger I've ever tasted. Service was very efficient and staff very attentive to our needs of wheelchair access.

Went for lunch on Saturday. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our 2 dogs were welcomed and even had a biscuit and a bowl of water. Had the fish and chips which were lovely. Really cosy and welcoming. Will definitely be going back again.

Had a late booking - 20.30. It was very lively when we arrived. However, by about 21.00 it was getting quiet. By the time we had our main course it was pretty empty. Starters were lovely. Main courses were a bit off. The fish/risotto/creamed pea dish was a bit soft, steak was fatty. Some staff were happy to help, others were a bit disengaged. Not overly impressed.

Best chicken burger ever!The food was so tasty and the staff so, so nice!The place is huge, dog friendly and with the original, old mill wheel conserved outside, on the deck.Also, the location makes this place so perfect. Just on the river Dee, seeing the water rapids from the deck, for me, it made a night to remember.It is also dog friendly so this ticked another box for us.We are sorry we can't give more than 5 stars.
