Crispy Cod in Denbighshire

Friendly staff and big size portion but when your on holiday you want your fish and chips to have that seaside taste unfortunately they didn't

We ordered three adult meals and two children's meals to have on the beech as a treat on my daughter's birthday. The food was all freshly prepared. The staff were friendly and the portions were very generous. We will make this our go to place for fish and chips when we are anywhere near Prestatyn.

Not at all good, the fish had extremely hard batter and was very greasy. Chips where also greasy, gravy had an odd taste. Waited over half an hour. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

Excellent. Everything made to order but well worth the wait. Really generous portions friendly service if anything under charging given the quality. Curry sauce is the best I've had by a mile. Shane we can't give six stars.

If you're not Welsh be prepared to wait and watch Welsh people walk in and get served before you. Waited 45 minutes, after no service and watching the comings and goings I asked for my money back. Was told by an old lady in the queue to go back to where I come from! I told her to keep her nose out as it was nothing to donwith her, she told me she lives here and is a regular? Lovely to be racially abused whilst on my holidays, also nice to see the staff allow this to go on in the year 2022.

It's the 3rd time that I've visited, since doing my new job. The previous 2 times the curry has been really good. However, yesterday, it just didn't seem to have the depth of flavour that it previously had. That said, I will revisit. The plaice (see what I did) is spotlessly clean, and the staff are excellent. The portions are huge, so excellent value for money. Thank You.

Disappointed in the fish & chips. Not far from shop but it didn't travel well. I waited 12 mins while cooked so could've been crisper batter than it was.fsr too many chips so ended up throwing half the fish and 3/4 of the chips away. Won't be going again .over £13 . Not good value in my estimation

Got to be the best chippy around. We had fish, chips and peas.The fish was really fresh and the chips must have been double or triple fried. So soft but with crispy bits( I need the recipe for these chips lol)An absolute must to try. Very busy chippy with lovely staff too

Best fish and vhips I've ever had. All cooked fresh and plentiful. Nice clean seating area and friendly staff who make a great brew!

Visited here this lunchtime 18/3/22. I asked for 2 cones of chips for myself and my wife, something they don't do, so opted for the 2 small chips which cost me £4.40! Got to the beach opened them, reheated, probably the worst chips we have tasted they went in the bin. I certainly won't be visiting this establishment again.
