Dee Side Cafe Bistro in Denbighshire

A nice bistro next to the river Dee. With spectacular views from the windows. An excellent choice of various meals.Really big portions for a reasonable price.

Attentive waiting staff, great menu (good choices for vegetarian), nice atmosphere, great views - would definitely recommend!

Everything was wonderful. Food 10/10, atmosphere 10/10, staff 10/10. Possibly the nicest meal i’ve had. The beef inside my cheese and bacon 1/2 pounder was perfect. Extremely juicy and cooked to perfection. Along with the bacon too. Would highly recommend.

Some of the nicest food I think I've ever had!Rump steak baguette with onion, with chips, salad and coleslaw on the side was just over £8. Rest of the menu is fairly well priced, and we got the seat by the big window due to being a big group, so a lovely view of the river and the bridge, as well as Llangollen Station.Restaurant itself has a nice vibe to it and is clean, the windows could do with a clean but to be fair, I'm not sure how you'd go about cleaning the outside! 80s music is played through the speakers which is a nice addition too.Toilets are exceptionally clean albeit somewhat small but it's better than paying the 30p to use the car park WC.The only downside I can think of is that they only take cash, but there is a Barclays Bank across the road with an ATM, so this is easily sorted.If I was in the area again I would definitely revisit, and recommend to anyone nearby.

First class service and food,quite possibly the best mash I've ever tasted. Be careful if you order the gammon unless you've got a good appetite.. 😁

Quaint little place to eat after an 8km walk in the hills. Quick service but was a little cold upstairs. Tasty food and nice friendly staff.

Regular visitor now because we love it so much. We ring ahead to book a window seat as we have two dogs. Food is amazing. Cash only but that's no problem as there is a cash point across the street
