Guildhall Tavern Hotel and Restaurant in Denbighshire

A big shout out to Evan the manager who made us feel so welcome today. We only popped in for a couple of drinks but he seems to be an expert in hospitality.

Didn't stay and so can't rate the rooms but a great old pub steeped in history. Great beer in a great atmosphere. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Very warm welcome & attentive hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Great nights sleep and breakfast. We will definitely be stopping over again.

There is a real well inside this hotel !Rooms are individually decorated , ours had a childs hand carved on the door frame which was fascinating. Food is delicious and staff very friendly. We had a good look around the town and also explore places nearby. Highly recommended this place !

I had a great experience, cannot recommend enough! Staff was incredibly helpful, the room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a birthday weekend. I highly recommend the breakfast and the coffee which was the best I’ve had in a while!

Nice and clean, pleasant staff. Food is good pub food. Wine was good, beer ok. Not much selection but I guess it's a chicken and egg situation... Would recommend

Booked for one night to attend a wedding. Arrived later in evening. In morning discovered the hot water tap in wash basin didn’t work. Complained to manager in the morning and he said he was aware there was an issue with leaks on that floor. Shame he didn’t tell us that before we booked in. Room was clean and included continental breakfast was lovely. Cooked breakfast additional cost.

Great service, friendly staffFood we had was cooked just right.Not sure the desert s were homemade.However, overall, had a great evening.

Very pleasant stay, lovely big room. Evan couldn't do enough for us, very pleasant. Waitresses also very keen to do everything they could to help, especially Ellie, who was only on her second day! Definitely stay again.

We stayed on Saturday 12th June. We arrived at 11pm and were met by a lovely young man called Evan. He was very pleasant and nothing was to much trouble. The bed was comfortable and the room a good size. Evan served us breakfast which was really nice and plenty of choice. Price was fair, and I would stay again.
