Hungry Tum in Denbighshire

Excellent fish, chips were good but not as good as I've found elsewhere on this coast and a large portion definitely wasn't large hence they only get 4 stars. Friendly place though and would visit again

Service was ok, and sausage and chips were good ( I especially liked the chips). Found the fish quite bland and low quality, though the batter was tasty.

We had fish chips peas and jumbo sausage chips and gravy very tasty and well worth the price

Small portions but more importantly the staff are very rude and ignorant. 2 females serving at the front, One seemed like she was a new employee (Sophie) can't fault her really, but the other more experienced member of staff was very rude and ignored any questions. Do not recommend and won't be visiting again.

cheap as chips, but defo had better locally, chips were 80/90 percent the hard ones you find at the bottom of the bag in frozen chips and tad over done, batter was soggy too, all in all not very pleasant and left seeking something else to eat after throwing about 80 percent of the meal in the bin.

Nice fish, chips slightly over cooked for me but that's just my preference, really reasonable prices for a seaside resort and cooked fresh whilst you wait, deffinately will visit again

The best fish & chip shop in Wales! .. Food is always freshly cooked and delicious and all the staff are very polite. Excellent 'covid secure' measures in place at the moment (July 2020) which really shows how much they value their customers, their safety as well as the safety of their staff. Its the hidden gem of Rhyl that never disappoints to serve good quality food cooked to perfection!

Big menu and selection to choose from, generous portions and friendly staff.Safe ordering as well with limited numbers in the store at any time for Social Distancing.Food quality is great, all freshly cooked and tasty.Highly recommended!

Excellent chip shop and one easily overlooked, wish had discovered this on previous visits to Rhyl. Friendly owner and fish freshly cooked, no charge for eating inside, seating plentiful, toilet facilities and ample on street car parking. Great value, quality fish & chips and will call again.
