Karls Fish & Chips in Denbighshire

My husband and I had lunch. The small fish meal was good, although bread and butter should have been included, but didn't arrive. I had the plaice meal, very small piece of plaice in bread crumbs, hardly any fish at all. My meal was very disappointing and definitely over priced.

We took a visit 16th June 2022About 4 ish. We have been before and it was loverly. How ever this time we called it was absolutely disgusting we had 2 large cod and chips. Jumped in the camper went up to hilltop to eat them. Opened the bag to find the paper was soaked in greese opened up the cartons and the fish was well over cooked was pretty much brown and tried a chip which was like a guessing game of which is cooked or not. The lady who was serving was clearly more interested in what her friend had to say than keeping an eye on other orders.It was that bad we binned everything. Not impressed and wish we were close enough take them back.What a waste of money and a real disappointment and a poor end to a great holiday

A nice local fish and chip shop that serves all the usual items and dishes that you would expect. Staff are friendly, food was nice and prices were reasonable. Sitting area was kept clean and tidy. Worth a visit If your in the area and looking for a nice Chippy. Probably the best one we've been to in and around prestatyn.

Great freshly cooked food and very friendly staff who offer abuse on the side if required. Be careful ordering large peas or curry sauce as it's twice the size expected. But lovely

Everytime im in wales i make sure i pop along to sample there quility fish and chips, which has been twice in the last few weeks, highly recommend them, friendly staff, and top fish and chips.

Excellent fish and chips, great portion size.We had fish, sausage, curry sauce and peas.All were excellent, hot fish with crispy batter, well cooked chips.

Nice fish and chip supper which we ate by the sea. All cooked fresh and was a tasty meal. Staff were efficient and friendly, was a busy shop so I guess it's reputation pays off.

Tried it because of all the wonderful reviews, we were not disappointed! The food was prepared in front of us, and the portions were generous. The food tasted fantastic and both portions were well seasoned. Recommend this place highly!
