Les & Rita's Fish Bar in Denbighshire

Lovely fish, chips and mushy peas. Both opted for the mini portion which with a cup of tea and a slice of bread was a cracking lunch.

Out for the day and tourist information suggested this place. It's not on the sea front but close enough.The staff are friendly. The place was spotless and the food was GREAT! I rarely eat the batter on the fish as it is thick and fatty. Not here, it was thin, crispy and hardly any fat on it.Don't take this the wrong way (not being racist here) but it was nice to find a chippy that was only a chippy and not a Chinese take with a chippy menu. They only do this and it shows in the quality.

Visited here 31 Jan 22 and, 32 years after visiting before, was not disappointed! The place is clean, the staff friendly and the food stunning! Best fish and chips I think I've had anywhere👍 Visit here... You won't be disappointed😉

Worst chips i have ever had! Burnt up to nothing and served up in your bag! This place is nothing like it used to be!

Been here now a few times and this is one of them establishments which has stood the test of time and mastered the perfect fish dinner. Staff are superb and such a welcoming atmosphere.

Great Fish& Chips😁 We had 2 of their "Specials" £6.00. Fish Chips & Mushy Pes & tea! That was the "Real.Deal"😁 We'll certainly be back. Beutiful & great waitress service 5*****😁 very pleasant, Happy staff. Thank You.!

Very fresh made ordinary fish and chips! Look forward to seeing if their quality can be maintained consistently. Far too many chippies end up letting us down because quality is variable. We will see when we next pass them

If you've never tried the fish and chips you're missing out they are absolutely delicious and all the staff are brilliant especially Bob who does the potatoes he's an absolute star

Might have been the only chip shop open on Jan 3 but thank goodness for that! Fish was cooked to order and the chips were piping hot! Loved it and will happily recommend this for both food and friendliness on a bitterly cold day👍

Oooo what a little gem of a chippy! We were advised to sit down and they came to take our order. Its nice and simple decor. I was looking for dust ( I can be a bit annoying like that), I could not see any. The place seemed really clean.Put your woolly hat on for the toilet (I can only speak for the girls) as it was like the artic!We ordered the deal which was fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and a pot of tea for £4.95. It was one of the nicest fish and chips I've ever had. The batter was nice and light but still crispy, the chips we not too fatty tasting and the mushy peas were lovely too.The staff were really friendly and chatty.
