Leyland Arms in Denbighshire

What an absolute hidden gem. The staff are attentive, polite and very welcoming. The food is superb quality and in my mind reasonably priced. The views are stunning from the beer garden and the church facing the pub is a beautiful historic building.

I enjoyed a week staying in here. No questions, I loved it. I would rather stay in this homely place than the top hotel in London. Their house burgers are something on their own I would return for. Then finally the location, not a shopping stay, it is a country stay, I will add a few photos of the gems my daughter and I found in the area. Pick your favourite.

What a find! Absolutely delicious food (the ribs and wings followed by sticky toffee pudding were a knockout) and the service was excellent, friendly and attentive.

We went for Sunday dinner and pudding. The food and staff were amazing! I booked a table via Facebook and when we come back we will visit again - fab service

Landlady was marvellous! Group of 8 and 2 dogs not an issue. Table service too! Can't comment on food but it looked very appealing!

Lovely pub in the picturesque Welsh countryside. Welcoming, friendly staff and decent prices. We went for a wedding and didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food they serve but the hot buffet they did for the wedding was nice.They also served ale at the appropriate temperature so extra props for that.Well worth a visit if you are in this part of the country.

We met friends there and enjoyed a delicious meal last night. Two of us had the steak and ale pie - the best we’ve ever eaten! Two had the cod, which was very tasty. Friendly service, reasonable prices, good beer from the barrel. Altogether a great evening. Will be going again.
