Links Bar at Rhyl Golf Club in Denbighshire

Golf lessons with gerry Cox excellent pro great teacher

Not what I would expect for a golf club

Great breakfast in the club house. Staff very helpfull

A great little golf course. Only 9 holes but it's a quality course. Nicely groomed but you've got to watch out for the rabbit holes. There's no trees but the features such as the rough and bunkers can present some good challenges. For a short course its surprisingly long and even has a par 5. The course offers plenty of length and space for big hitters to have a proper swing of the club. The club house is nice and has a quiet but friendly atmosphere. The pro shop is well equipped and the pro himself is very knowledgeable. The club has a good junior programme also and youngsters are encouraged to join. Best of all they can join for free!

Looks like a good golf course, not uses it myself. Don't play golf.

An ok links golf course. The first tee had been moved forward about 75 yards which spoilt the hole. There are flood defence works underway near the entrance to the course and there was considerable noise from these as well as from traffic. Other than that the course is well maintained. The clubhouse was open and served an excellent and good value breakfast. Service was polite and efficient and covid secure.

We had my father's wake there last week staff pleasant but lack of card machine and knowledge let them down badly. This meant my musical tribute to Dad was not able to be heard.Teas and coffees out for 1 hour only when guests asked for a cup a few mins later were charged for themThe drinks bill was supposed to be sent to undertaker this did not happen I had to leave guests escorted in bar staffs car to corner shop over Mile away to cash till Made to feel like a criminal all because they did not know how to gain access to clubshop cardreader. Left sour taste in mouth. Also meant everyone left early and went on to other establishments in town spendin g a considerable amounts thatcould have boosted clubs profits. Felt we were an inccumberance to them.

Set just back from the beach near Rhyl, good coastal course with usual amenities. This venue is also great to hold private gatherings, staff are excellent, very good buffet.

Had a lovely round here. Some confusion with a voucher, but the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Real well kept links course. Fabulous greens. A really good 9 hole course, with 18 tee positions. We will be back soon!

I visited Rhyl Golf club as part of a wedding party, the interior of the building was well kept and felt inviting, they had a section for the golf players that they could sit in, the bar had a large selection of drinks although the prices were a bit higher than usual. The food was the biggest let down. It was dry and had no flavour, the potatoes weren't cooked. This is the reason for it being a 3 stat instead of a 4. On the golf side of things, they had a large course that is available for a reasonable price.
