Rumours in Denbighshire

Usually a nice place even if expensive for what you get compared with other cafés. On this visit the service was shocking. Didnt appear to know what they were doing. Waited ages for food and drinks didnt arrive till after the food when we had to ask for them. Things missing of our order so had to go back to counter during our meal to ask for them. Even heard one server saying she was putting cups of tea in microwave to reheat them as they had been standing a while. Dont know what has happened to the place but I recommend you visit Silvers cafe up the road good food, good price, friendly and efficient service

I ordered from here today and found that the food came hot and quickly to where we were, I had one of rumours famous breakfasts and I loved every bite of it!. The delivery man was very nice and friendly and again the food was Great :)) would order front here again and recommend it to anyone :))

Called in for a quick breakfast as had a whole that needed filling. Food was cooked nice and clean, fried bread was really nice would like to see a better quality of sausage but other than that yea a nice breakfast.

Ordered our food, 2 hours later it had finally been delivered but with missing items. An hour after that our missing items finally arrived but what was suppose to be a bacon and sausage bap was one tiny piece of bacon on a bap. All the food was cold, The male staff was very rude and the cheese in the cheese toastie tasted like rubber. Would not recommend.

Called in for a cuppa. A bit distracted by the million and one signs everywhere. Ordered two mugs of tea and paid, waited but was told would be brought out to us, we couldn't sit inside as the greasy smell was overpowering. After waiting 15 minutes I went back in to enquire about our teas, the woman that took my order and money had left and not told anyone about our order. I would have gone elsewhere if I hadn't already paid.

Absolutely disgusting attitude from the male staff and owner . Food was walmed up and half missing, was snapped and when pointed out the missing items. We were sat on a filthy table and when I asked for a cloth was told someone would do it. The dirty dishes were still there when we left. Never again

The food was nice enough (when they eventually got our order right) which was nothing to do with being picky 😅. We asked for a child's breakfast with added black pudding 🤷‍♀️ simple. They missed the child's drink (because the waiting staff didn't know it came with one, then brought our food out with just 1 sausage and beans on the child's, I was then told she only brings out what she's told

Used to be a regular haunt for us but of late we think its gone down hill.In desperate need of a re vamp, very dated and gloomy. Food took ages to come considering the amount of staff in the kitchen. Not sure if it has new owners that haven't got a clue????

Food excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Prices very good. We'll worth a visit

Loved this little café to bits, clean, very friendly and a no nonsense but very well put together menu. We went for the Rumours super big breakfast to set us up for the day, not quite as big as I'd thought it might be but well cooked and ample enough without leaving you bloated and washed down with a steaming mug of coffee all at a reasonable price, definitely recommended.
