The Kings Head Rhuddlan in Denbighshire

The man that served us was so lovely and really great with us as we came in with a new born and dog. Food was really nice and very reasonably priced! Perfect for lunch, I had the chicken BBQ melt. My partner had the steak both really lovely! Best thing about the place definitely the staff!

Spent Sunday and Monday in Rhuddlan and came across Kings Head. Had few drinks on the Sunday then returned Monday for a meal. We had the lunch offer of Hunters chicken followed by the ice cream sundae. Both of which were very tasty. Both Darren and Kyrstie made us feel very welcome and are both very down to earth and informative. Can highly recommend a visit to this well ran establishment. Good selection of drinks were very enjoyable also.

We had arrived at 8.20pm, family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids. Asked to have something to eat as website informers that you are serving food. Been informed that in 5 min kitchen will be closing, and there is one table. Order cooking now so we can't get any food. Absolutely disgusting. So the kitchen is open, but you can't take order??? When that becomes the rule? We were traveling 6 hours and would be very quick to order, litteraly kids and us starving and were willing to order it straight away, but had no option, we had left and went to Mcdonalds. Obviously 4 ppl seating in a bar brings lots of business as you don't need extra £70 in your till on Monday evening.

Great food. Very friendly staff. Everything cooked fresh and very reasonable prices.

We had to go back for food again on Saturday, and AGAIN the food was delicious! Fantastic friendly service, could not fault anything.

Not been for a while. What a pleasant surprise. New decor etc. New menu. We had the Mexican nachos sharer with a side of cheesy garlic bread.. Best nachos we've ever had. Really really nice. Would highly recommend

It's a chain pub so it won't be a 5 star. But food was hot tasty. Served quickly and together. Staff friendly and gave the kids colouring in things. Beer was Marston so pretty decent. Baby changing neat and tidy available by request. Great value for money.

Too pricey for drinks in my opinion but supply n demand I guess.. only had 1 drink due to not paying over £4 for a pale ale that's less than £2 - In weatherspoons. Also Stella was £4.10 so over £8 for 2 standard pints.. Good luck to them but felt robbed

Walking into this pub felt immediately welcoming, it's a large pub which looks recently decorated. The staff member who greeted us was welcoming and very helpful, he also checked on us and served our table well throughout the visit. For dinner we had a Dirty chilli burger, steak and ale pie and a kids meal with a burger, waffles and carrots. The burger looked and tasted good, it was spicier than expected but still disappeared from the plate pretty quickly. The pie was exactly the kind of pub food I wanted and my 2 year old ate most of his meal which was very impressive. So happy with the meal we all had dessert after, my son was served a generous portion of ice cream and I had a rocky road sundae. The KH in chocolate sauce was a nice touch. Extremely happy with our visit and sad that we live too far away to make it a local
