Nice surroundings. Very friendly staff. Good beer. Live music at weekends. A win win if ever there was one.

This place is doing loads better! Open mic night is great. It's gone from a grubby bad rep pub to a lovely little music hub.

A great live music venue. Nice staff, cheap prices. They really try and push live music which is awesome for us musos!!

I played here with my band, Dr.T-Bone, in December 2021 and we found the place to be a real gem. It’s a great place to to quaff a few beers, to listen to live music and/or to perform. We enjoyed performing for a lively and appreciative audience and the place attracts a nice and varied crowd.The staff are exceptionally pleasant and welcoming and the guys organising the music really know their stuff. The decor is good and there’s a great atmosphere.

Good beer prices and good atmosphere

Staff here are fantastic. A great place to stay, better than most hotels. Spent two weeks here no hassle. Rooms are clean and have great facilities. Busy in the pub Friday and Saturday night but dont hear it in the rooms upstairs. I would stay here again definitely.

Great value for money, spotlessly clean, friendly owners, Wetherspoon next door for reseanably priced food.

Bouncer wouldn't let us in for a reason he didn't feel obliged to disclose.When we offered to play for entry he replied 'I take much more from the dealers in here!'
