Central Hotel in Flintshire

Tasteless food, dirty bathrooms. Full of drunk people. Staff was nice

Nice place to go, staff friendly and food looked good. I will be going back. After going back again the food came out in less than five minutes but was not hot, makes me.think pre cook for speed.

This is truly the cleanest wetherspoons I have ever visited with the best service and the nicest freshest food also very child friendly my 3 grandkids loved the place and the friendly staff

The Central Hotel was a nice place to visit. We went for lunch and there was a good range of food choices. Due to the amount of options in the menu, I knew none of it was freshly cooked but it was still fairly tasty. We ordered a jacket potato with beans for our daughter but it was really dry and not very appetising. The tables weren't very clean and we had to clean the cutlery before use. There was a good atmosphere though and the decor was in keeping with the building which added to the cosy feel of the place.

As with all spoons, maccies prices for half decent scran. Nice atmosphere and despite it being 8pm on a Friday night still had no problem finding a table. Only gripes would be, no condiments left, and they left my pint of lager with my kids when I went the toilet. He is 18 but doesn’t look it and didn’t get challenged.

Food was cooked to perfection! Lemon Chicken with chips and coleslaw. Very nice! But not what made this a great visit!I took my Dad out who has rapidly deteriorated mentally and was shouting random things which for me being the first time I've been able to take him out since lockdown was very upsetting to see the once strong proud man shouting. I'm a bit embarrassed and ashamed to say the attention was embarrassing and I was thinking I'm ruining these other people's lunches. But your staff were kind and went out their way to help me both when he needed the loo and also when I asked for sauce the guy could have just said like he did it's just around the corner but he saw and understood I couldn't leave my Dad and said it's ok and he went and got it, it's a small thing but all the same he went out his way, as did the lady behind the bar asking if he was ok.Thanks very much for making one of my worst experiences in my life slightly better. Keep helping, keep smiling and keep that food nice and I'll be back with my family for a lunch. 👍🏼

Ordered a wrap at the bar instead got chips and chicken strips absolutely unbelievable! I then tried to politely ask if I can return it and get the wrap however to my shock I got told that I cannot send it back as it is already made. I know for a fact that I asked Ben behind the bar for a wrap and not just some chicken on a plate. Next time maybe you should listen Ben!!!

The 3 times I have been into a Weatherspoons I have always been pleasantly surprised. Staff friendly and helpful. Prices great. Food basic but warm and good selection.

Today was ok. Limited seating outside and lots of smokers. This Wetherspoons as always dark inside. This always has a negative effect on the family experience.Breakfast was ok, Ordered at the table and arrived quickly.Bad point was the length of queue to get a hot drink. With all the COVID-19 mitigation, why is ti a self-service touch screen???

Called in this morning while in Shotton. It wasn't particularly busy and yet I was ignored at the bar while waiting to order. It appeared the barmaid was also serving meals instead of concentrating on the customers awaiting service and no acknowledgement of me standing there as she walked past me twice . This is the only gripe as the food arrived quickly and more importantly HOT and was very nice.I would recommend the traditional breakfast but hopefully next time, the bar service will be of the same quality as the food
