Chocks Away Diner in Flintshire

Lovely clean diner,quality food,good service and a lovely outdoor area to watch the comings and goings on the airfield.

Our first visit since hearing about the place and not really sure what to expect we got close to the location with SATNAV and then it lead us on a merry go round, had to phone in for a young lady to talk us in. Worth the slight troubles, very good breakfast choices and friendly staff. And although we knew nothing about the star attraction, it, THE BELUGA landed in the middle of our meal.

Went to Chocks away today and really enjoyed it. Group of 16 people and everyone enjoyed the food. Also a great place to view the Beluga and light aircraft landing and taking off.

Fantastic place, we rang ahead and booked a table, food was absolutely outstanding and great value for money. We got to see a few planes take off and land which was also great. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning, thank you.

Always friendly with great food. Children love lunch here after a bit a of plane spotting. Eat in or out on the picnic tables outside with a small play area.

I am new in Chester & found chocks away on google search. I visited the place today with my little boy. And all staff were amazing! Very welcoming, friendly & warm to other races/ diversity. Thanks you so much, we enjoyed our breakfast.

Called in today on the spur of the moment. What a good idea it was. We both had a breakfast. It was great, one of the best ive had in a long long time. Staff were really nice, service was great. Will definitely go back

Amazing service, a wide variety great food at reasonable prices. Polite and kind staff. Great place to watch the planes outside. We will be back.

Called in today for a Big breakfast while the wife was busy. What a cracking Café/Diner. I wanted a seat by a window but it was reserved due to them being busy. I explained I wasn't staying long so they allowed me to sit there. Nice view of the planes taking off and arriving. My food was nice and arrived promptly. You can see the chef's cooking in the back nice and tidy kitchen. Great work staff keep up the good work. If I lived closer I would come here every weekend.

We've been coming to chocks aAway since it first opened way back.Absolutely love this place, views of the runway are amazing.Breakfasts are a must the quality of the meat is good, very family friendly. Very reasonably priced.
