Honey's Bakery & Riverside Cafe in Flintshire

Lovely little riverside hidden gem with super friendly staff, great nibbles and is even licensed too. Would highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Generally a nice place in a scenic location by the side of the stream.I'm a cyclist and visit Honey's with other cyclists and sit outside if the weather's friendly. Reasonable range of food and drinks but take care to read the notice about minimum card payment of £12 or you'll feel stung and leave with a nasty taste in your mouth.

I come here often and decided to book afternoon tea for an early birthday present for my Mum. Really reasonably priced as you get a selection of savouries, cakes, tarts and scones plus 2 two pots of tea. Lovely location and environment and I was able to book it relatively last minute.

After hearing positive reviews we thought we would call past for some breakfast . Sadly we waited whilst people who arrived later were served before us, finally we asked if we would take away two coffees and a bacon and sausage roll to as we needed to leave in 15 mins. 25 mins later it all arrived and it was over cooked and bland. No offer of sauces and tasted no better than a ‘greasy spoon’, which you can see from the picture.

A very enjoyable afternoon lovely setting alongside the river, pleasant staff &lovely food.The tea was lovely made with proper tea leaves.We will be returning for another visit soon.

Last visited in the summer of 2020 and was caught out by the minimum card payment of £10.This year it's £12 so beware if it's just one or two of you having a quick cuppa.I've only used the cashpoint once in the last 16 months and I'm sure I'm not the only one.Good service though and coffee and cake were good.

What a lovely little cafe, first visit and will attempt to go back next time we are in the area.Covid-19 controls: Temperature check, sanitiser, regularly cleaned, tables sprayed after use, staff in masks plus contact number for track & trace. 👏Great job 👍

Had a Valentines Afternoon tea for two today. Absolutely delicious. Truly a little gem of a place in our community. Can't wait for it to re-open ❤️😊👍

I have only been to this place twice but I have been impressed on both occasions. The food is of a great quality, I have been greeted well upon entrance on both occasions & the place is of a very clean & tidy standard. I will be returning to Honey's & hopefully ordering more than just a breakfast in order to see how good the food is here. I must say, the capachino and the chai latte have both been great!
