Mel's Cafe in Flintshire

My best friend really enjoys the breakfast here so decided she wanted to go for her Belated Birthday Breakfast. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to organise any balloons etc and called Mela Cafe very last minute on the morning asking if they had anything on hand to acknowledge the occasion. It was explained they didnt but then they went out of their way to go to the shops, get balloons and banners and decorate the reserved table for her arrival!Thank you so much again for doing this. It was very much appreciated it and Soph loved it!

1st time we been and it was A1, food was great got seated quickly, bill was fair, all In all a faultless experience

Went in for a full breakfast with my wife this morning and was well worth it. Perfect breakfast beautiful cup of tea as well. Will be going back for sure and looking forward to it. The service we got was great sat down asked if we would like a drink while we looked at the menu which was great. Ordered food came out shortly after and tastes fantastic.

If I could give zero stars I would! We were having a lovely day in mold, and going into this cafe completely ruined it. We were really hungry, and so decided to try Mels Cafe. The service was absolutely terrible. As soon as we sat down we didnt even get a chance to look at the menu, before we got asked what we would like to eat. So we said can we just have a couple more minutes. After this, we did not get asked what we would like to order for the next 20 minutes. The lady walked past our table several times, of which I tried to tell her we were ready. She served the table next to us, and then continued to ask for orders from other tables that had arrived after us. After waiting 30 minutes, and making several attempts to try and order food we decided to leave. Absolutely shocking service and will NOT be going back again. Would not recommend if you want good table service.

Called for the second time to this lovely cafe today. Great breakfast, hot and tasty. Very lovely staff that were pleasant and helpful. We shall return when we in mold next timeThank you.

Excellent food in the area best I have tried from Chester to Llandudno being breakfast is my favourite meal love this place and the staff are so nice and friendly twice a week ✌️

Always a great experience here. Staff all very polite and helpful. A great selection on the menu and our breakfasts were fresh, hot and tasty. Very competitively priced too, two breakfasts with hot drinks for less than £15..... can't go wrong. We'll be back soon.
