Pizza Express in Flintshire

CAREFUL: the menu price advertised outside before you come in to the restaurant is way cheaper than the actual price on the menu when you walk-in! You can easily get trapped... As an example the Diavolo pizza was advertised around £12 outside but the real price was £14. Also the pizzas are ok but the crust is very thin, literally you get out of the pizzeria and you are still hungry.. too expensive for what it is really.. Hear from me if you're hungry and looking for low cost food you're better off to McDonalds 100 yards away for half the price, the taste is even better and you are full for the day!

Worst experience at a pizza express, yet. Don't order "baked" anything, unless you want bland rubber.

Had a lovely meal that was serviced by Alex. She made our journey to pizza express a whole lot better, service with a smile on her face and left with a smile on ours. Thanks Alex.

Food was lovely, let's start there, great pizzas, pasta and dough balls... these were done beautiful so props to the chef. the part that loses a star for me would be the service, we were a party of 5, the place was empty and we were seated with one menu between all of us, the waiter advised would be back with more but 10 mins later we still only had one and hadn't even been asked for drinks. gentleman came over, said we looked like we need more menus and then him and another gent were great servers, polite just at the end of the meal we had poled our plates up and were waiting for the bill but numerous times were walked past and not asked if we were done or wanted bill. we then asked for it ourselves in the end.

Great food and service. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Sisco.

Food came quickly and tasted great. Families are welcome and the piccolo menu for kids is good (3 courses for £7.25). Only reason it’s not 5 stars is the polenta chips we ordered were cold but got some new ones and the were piping hot. Would go again.

One girl who welcomed us was lovely! Couldn't fault her. We tried to get the attention of the waiter when our food was put at put table but he just ignored us constantly. So I went up to ask if I could grab a sauce. The chefs were blank and confused as though theyd never seen a person before. And a lady snapped and said YES as she barged past! I must have ruined their conversation.

Food was very good. Staff were a bit odd, they didn’t like that I asked to change my table and one employee told me a pretty good story of his 4.5 hour walk to work after a night out and how he was 5 hours late. I couldn’t help thinking, where did the extra half hour come from? Also would benefit from a good dusting and mirror cleaning (the store not employee).All in all I’d probably go back…

Our server was a great guy, happy positive and gave good service. The reason for a poor rating is the manager seemed a bit grumpy and abrupt and the social distancing was none existent. Considering you don't wear masks one our group were sat directly back to back with another group with no screens etc and in a way that forced anyone going to the toilet to brush past.

Over priced for what you get,Long time waiting to be seated, and to order, then it was not worth having, 2 pizzas, and 2 cokes, hardly any cheese and a waste of £35.00
