Spavens Sweet Shop in Flintshire

Brilliant little sweet shop with lots of retro as well as modern sweets. Also has a large selection of liquorice (including salted, double salted, and triple salted varieties)

Spavens is a delightful little haven that sends you back to those glorious childhood Sundays in your local sweet shop. Walked in and immediately felt like a kid in wonder again.The owner is super kind and welcoming, very patient with indecision in customers, and went above and beyond to ensure we were making informed selections and getting the best value. I believe they also cater parties, woop woop :)Huge variety of confectionery available, including specialist licorice, pick 'n' mix, handmade fudge, ice cream, and it's all very reasonably priced. Was also ecstatic to discover they cater to dietary restrictions such as lactose intolerance and coeliac disease, so if you've been missing out on ice cream for years like me, this is for sure the place to go! :D

We stumbled across Spavens whilst having a family weekend break and wow, what a wonderful place. The staff were so friendly to both us and even more so to our dog. We had a dessert here and it was wonderful. The visit was a highlight of our weekend and if we are close again we will definitely be calling in. Thank you

Great place to visit with the kids. Staff are very welcoming and service is great even during a busy half term. First we designed our jars then we filled them with sweets, the staff were very helpful. Then they took our order for crepes, ice cream and drinks. It didn't take long for them to arrive, they were very tasty and hot, I highly recommend them. Great place to get a bit creative and lots of sweets to choose from.

The staff and very friendly, organised and helpful. The activities and party bags were excellent value.

Amazing find travelling through Mold. Most amazing sweet shop with SO much choice. Happy kids and happy mummy! Really helpful staff and dog friendly too. Would most definitely visit again.

We had a lovely couple of hours making sweet jars and pottery painting, well the kids did. I enjoyed the hotchocolate and pancakes😁 Lovely staff and magical downstairs in the craft room

Great old fashioned sweet shop but with modern additions also homemade fudge it's absolutely amazing

It's an amazing experience every child should have opportunity to enjoy. Ladies in the shop are extremely lovely and welcoming. Food and ice creams taste delicious. Great choice of items to colour.

Attended my sons friends birthday party.Lovely as always.Staff friendly and provide hot drinks for the parents.Children kept busy and had lots of fun.Decorated jars which they filled up with sweets. Picked an item off the shelf to decorate too, which they did before having treats.Pancakes first then we all sang happy birthday before ice-cream.I too had to buy some of their yummy sweets. How could I not 😝
