What a wonderful little find. Have visited a few times now whilst working in the area. The food is excellent proper home cooked. Lovely cozy old world pub. Love it. A must to visit.

Such a gem of a pub. Unlike any other. Had the most delicious gluten free fish and chips last weekend, best I’ve ever had!

Great, home cooked food. Generous portions, friendly service and cosy atmosphere. Great selection of traditional poddings. We will definitely be returning

Old and quirky. The staff and one customer were on a sponsered silence as no one talking. When we tried to strike up a conversation in the tiny bar, nope it was like pulling hens teeth!

If you’re looking for good pub food in a traditional setting, this is it.Old country pub set in a beautiful village 10 minutes from Mold.Excellent selection on the menu, good service and value for money. Couldn’t fault it. If you’re planning on visiting for food on Friday & Saturday, I would book in advance.

Lovely Sunday lunch in a foil tray. Piping hot, lots to eat. Recommended.

Had a great meal in this characterful Welsh pub. Traditional pub menu and huge portions. Lovely snug with open fire along with friendly locals.

Chris & Alwenna did us proud with a fab Christmas lunch. Even thought the place was full to bursting the food & service were of the usual high standard.
