I m here in Glynne Arms is lovely place and nice beers

Love this place. Only downside is that I don’t live near enough to go every weekend! Friendly staff, delicious food, reasonable prices and they allow dogs. Perhaps the best sticky toffee pudding on the face of the planet too. Can’t recommend enough.

Gastro pub food but to a higher standard. The pollock was outstanding. Sticky toffee pudding was nice but not exceptional.Prices are expensive but not unreasonable.Good range of beers.Nice building.Good and friendly staff.Very good. Will visit again.

Lovely warm welcome from the staff for us and our little dog. Nice food. Comfy chairs and a roaring fire. Allergy catered for.

A very beautiful and atmospheric gastronomy pub. Lots of little interesting things to notice in the decor. Unfortunately the small menu was partially available and over an hour after ordering we asked about our food as other people had 2 courses already. They we sold out of duck and steak. We ordered pizza, again not a great selection. What food did arrived was excellently done and the staff polite. Three stars for leaving me hangry. Hand lotion was lush.

What a lovely little pub - set in the beautiful village of Hawarden - named after the Glynne FamilyThis building is named after the Glynne family, which owned the Hawarden Estate from the 1650s. It was built c. 1812 and later extended at the back, where a two-storey Victorian coach house also survives.The nibbles we had were perfect enjoying a pale ale in front of the fire 🔥

Nice & clean, polite staff, good cup of real tea, tasty pea lovage & lettuce soup with a cheese scone, vegan. Lovely celeriac burger...dont know why but thought the celeriac burger was going to be made shredded & combined with something, it was a large thick sliced piece in batter, bit much for me but hubby ate all his, 😀

My favourite beer garden in the area, the fire is a lovely touch. However, the lager, namely the Wrexham Lager tastes mouldy and it's as if the lines haven't been cleaned since before COVID forced them to close. I told two members of staff that it didn't taste right, and nothing was done about it, so I left. A massive shame, as I absolutely love the Glynne normally.

Excellent place. Nice service (always trying to make sure you are enjoying your stay). Good food options, lots of starters if you want to try a bit of everything and good list of main courses. Place is dog friendly.
