The Millstone in Flintshire

The food was very nice. Service could be a little better - they weren't very flexible when it came to little requests that could easily be satisfied. I'm not sure whether this was the chef or the waiters, but it felt a little like we were an inconvenience at times. That said, great good and an almost 5 star experience.

Lovely selection of beverages on offer, and a great variety on the menu, lots of outside seating available. I found the chips a little dry and batter a bit soft for my liking but there were lots of clear plates all around which is a good sign. I would recommend this venue. And visit again.

Really nice food,slightly above average price for a Sunday Roast but well worth it. If seated in the conservatory part it can get very loud when it's busy as the noise echoes around.

I visited here with a friend. I had a main from the specials and my friend had the curry. Both meals were delicious followed by desert which was equally as tasty. One of my hang ups is good not being served on a hot plate, no issues with that here! The service was excellent and there was a good vibe throughout the evening. Would definitely recommend.

Good overall menu and choice, also has some specials. Food was great, service was good. We had a table for 7 in the back. Only minor criticism would be the food was in a different class to the decor.

Great service, nice restaurant area but unfortunately disappointed with the food. Fish pie had bones, very salty gammon and the veg curry wasn't tasty. For the price we expected better.

Really enjoy visiting the Millstone, food always really good. If you've never been - you missing out

A really lucky find. The food was AMAZING!!! I treated myself to a steak and it was excellent. Great service, Great setup and well worth stopping by. You will not be disappointed.
