They've recently revamped their menu so there's lots of choice for the same reasonable price. I can go out for lunch with my gran for under £20 plus drinks- bargain! My personal favourite is the chicken and bacon salad. Big portions, staff are friendly and the food arrives quickly and tastes good. What more could you want?

Great food, really nice staff behind bar and waiting on staff, both were polite, friendly, understanding and accommodated our childrens needs. Really appreciated!Wonderful place, will definitely be back for the food and the outdoor area enjoyed by our children.Thanks 😊

Omg the Sunday roast was gorgeous hot and tasty and plenty of it was the best hottest roast ive had in a pub highly recommend

Dont get me wrong, the queens has a good vibe of an old fashioned pub, great people, great place. The problem is, the inside looks like half pub, half diner, and there is a clear cut difference in the aesthetics. It's not impossible to combine the two to make a great dining experience with the atmosphere of a great pub, and I personally believe that this is required to bring this place up to scratch. Obviously Covid has really hit this place and it's great to see they still have their regulars, hopefully soon the restrictions will turn into profit and make this place the great little pub it should be.

Meals excellent everything is freshly cooked. The landlady is lovely so are the staff all very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We had our walking group Christmas dinner at the Queens Head in Mold last night. Nicki and her staff were brilliant, helping make it a fabulous evening for all 20 of us. The food was excellent too and I couldn’t fault it. Also the price was very reasonable considering it’s high standard. I would recommend the Queens Head to everyone for their Christmas dinner and any other meal. (The beer and other drinks are pretty good too)!
