Fmhad a carvery for a late father's day present, meat was warm, everything else was like warm, a large group came in not long after us so couldn't be bothered waiting to speak to woman serving the carvery !

Carvery perfectly served, full of flavour and not dry. We had Holy communion party last Sunday nothing was to problem for lovely staff so friendky and helpful. Garden is a big plus.Kids was happy and it was a pleasure for us thank you xx

Saturday night, hardly any tables in, no music, no atmosphere, could hear each tables conversation and there was only 4 tables in!. What we wanted on the menu had sold out. Left waiting a long time between starters and main. Glasses and starters left empty on table for too long. should of got a take away but thought we would support local. Overall poor experience. Shame as the place seems to have potential

I have never been in worst place. We had Holy Communion party today and the service was shocking. We were waiting 25 min at the bar for coffee. Table service didn't exist. Carvery was open but no one there to serve. We were pressing the bell for 15 min. 1 woman showed up to serve 40 people!! This place was prebooked. They run out of gammon, then roast potatoes. There was 50 min difference between serving first guest and last one queuing for carvery. Children didn't get their chips and nuggets for 2 hours because they forgot to prepare it! Carvery was cold!!!!!Dirty bathrooms with no soap in it!Avoid this place at all cost!

Had a carvery which was luke warm and dry.The staff service was non existence, we had to get our own menu's, condiments, etc. The table was booked in advance for a birthday party of 18, and be honest the whole experience was so poor that I will not be returning.

GT'S bar and grill have perfected the perfect dining service.The moment you enter the spacious car park, taking a walk past their gardens and straight in to the warm, cozy and large dining area, it had already set presidence and expectations were high.With in a few sections we were greeted by Jo which directed me to my seat and registered our track and trace.I was asked if I would like to order a drink, which I had a latte and it didn't disappoint, it was hot, rich and creamy and a smooth flavour and the Lotus Biscoff complimented the beverage perfectly.Within a few minutes Jo invited me up to order where I was greeted by an amazing assistant (Kyla) who was very attentive to what I wanted. She was very polite, friendly and the meat was cut with precision. Nothing was too much trouble for her.My server Georgia was perfect, check backs at the right time, recommending house specials on the deserts and she catered for my needs while dining. Georgia was polite, friendly, welcoming and all the staff show that they care for great service, food and their job.Finally the Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Perfectly served, full of flavour and not dry. The ice-cream was creamy and served with a strawberry which again complimented the soft vanilla ice cream beautifully.Lovely warm and welcoming venue, nice ambient lighting, amazing food, service and a must for anyone that wants a gorgeous meal with a lovely relaxed atmosphere.If I could score higher I would, well done GTs Bar and Grill and all the team behind the scenes. Brilliant experience. We came in with a child & intended to eat-in, but as our son seemed under the weather, the staff were more than happy to let us take our roast dinners home with us.The food was brilliant. Drinks were as expected. Atmosphere was fine. Sports are broadcasted in bar area for those interested.

So sad that we were disappointed yesterday, we visit often for the carvery but yesterday's Christmas lunch was a shambles! Soup... Cold! Had to ask for chutney meant to be served with pate. Everything on our plates or served to us for main course was cold(stone cold meats!) returned the food and opted to help ourselves at the carvery.... Cold again!!! Later told they'd had issues with an electrician servicing the carvery hot plate area..... Why not be honest from the start? Used to be my favourite Sunday lunch but now feel I can't trust them, very sad 😔

Came here for Sunday lunch. Waiting on Staff are very attentive. Chefs are so friendly and are non stop. Carvery was wonderful fresh and hot and Yorkshires Wow filled the plate. Really impressed with the chefs serving you there wonderful home cooked food. They got that busy the manager came down to help with the rush on her day off. Great team effort. Would recommend 👌

Visited GT's whilst on holiday in the area, staff were welcoming and helpful. They unfortunately only had one chef working so when we first arrived (we didn't book) the waitress was very apologetic and asked if we could return in 1 hour to allow the chef to catch up with current orders. We agreed. Once returned we were seated and order was taken. We waited 35 minutes for our food order to arrive, which we didn't mind.Food was okay, spaghetti was very greasy and the sauce had a sheet on top of it where it had been sat for a little while. Still tasted okay though. My partner had the bbq chicken to which he said was nice but chips were a little over cooked.A good experience though overall.
