The Tavern Bar and Restaurant in Flintshire

Great place, great food and friendly staff Highly recommended..our favourite restaurant shame it is closing, we will miss it.

My husband and I have been a couple of times in last few months and would highly recommend this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming, there is a great choice on the menu and specials boards to suit all palettes, the food is top quality and service first class... Well done to all

Having ate at the Rainbow in Gwernymynydd whilst it was owned by the same people, I can gladly say that the Tavern is more of the same!Food is excellent, especially the dessert I had (as a pastry chef I am usually very critical)Nice atmosphere, nice staff, nice furniture!One thing I would say is the confit duck leg starter was so large, my girlfriend struggled to them eat half of her main course! Though they were both really good dishes.I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and hope to eat there again soon!

We have eaten here many times since the chef and his team moved here from the Rainbow. We have never been disappointed and the food and service have been unfailingly excellent. It deservedly enjoys a high reputation locally.

My grandson and I ate here last Friday and as usual the food and service was wonderful we will be back..
