Alam Tandoori in Gwynedd

Awesome meal. The restaurant was very clean and quite roomy. We ordered Butter Chicken, Lamb Curry and freshly baked Naan all of which were delicious! The service was phenomenal and food was brought out really fast. I can’t recommend this place any better.

Fantastic customer service but very poor food quality and standard.

If I could give this place a bonus star, I would. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the portion sizes were perfect and the choices were plentiful. The staff were able to describe dishes when asked and recommended dishes based on personal tastes of the group.I would highly recommend this place to others and will certainly be returning myself at a later date.

New location just across the road from the old one, really classy upmarket interior matches up very well to the excellent food on offer. Definitely one of the best Tandoori restaurants I've dined at with a great range of well cooked and prepared dishes at very reasonable price and friendly accommodating staff. Need to be aware to bring your own alcohol to drink if needed and is Cash only!!Very impressed & will definitely be returning.

Great Indian restaurant with great service and food. Had a variety of vegetarian and meat food. I’ve had many chicken dishes but never heard of Korai so we tried the chicken Korai dish and it was my favourite dish, to which I told the staff as they were promoting other chicken dishes and told them that they should promote this dish instead.

I possibly visit an Indian restaurant about once a year so I'm not an experienced eater of this cuisine. The menu was extensive but so simple to follow. All the dishes were categorised and well described so a decision was easily made. The service was quick and efficient even though a large party were also being served at the same time. The food was hot and truly delicious.we ordered far too much but were offered cartons to take the surplus home with us. The staff were pleasant and courteous . The only drawback is that it's Cash only, but there is a cash machine a few yards away. This one is certainly will get a second visit.

The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were perfect. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful food and wonderful service, I had the chicken tikka balti and it was delicious. Two things to be aware of when visiting, 1. They only take cash so be prepared, if you do forget there is a cash point over the road that is free of charge. 2. They operate under BYOB, so unless you just want soft drinks be sure to take some beer or wine or whatever takes your fancy. They do provide glasses of various shapes and will lend you a bottle opener should you need it. Highly recommend.

Visited here with a group of 12 of us on a busy Saturday night and sat downstairs. Definitely better for a group to be downstairs as it may be a bit rowdy for others sat in smaller groups nearby. Nice generous portions, and everyone went away content. Definitely a place I would visit again.
