Everything you want from a proper chippy! Fresh and tender fish, crispy batter, proper chippy chips, generous portions, reasonable prices and cooked to order. Would go back without hesitation!

Was working in the area and was directed by a local to the “ best chippy” in the town and they were spot on 👍🏻 proper seaside fish and chips, probably the best I’ve tasted in years. Lovely 👍🏻

Called here after a huge walk around Snowdonia with my partner, we got a regular portion of chips and they were absolutely delicious, proper Chippy Chips! Could only fault that I couldn’t really taste the salt and vinegar I asked to be put on them. Got curry sauce to go with them and that was also delicious to! We got a fish that was lovely. We also ordered 6 chicken bites… these were the dogs Bollox!!! Absolutely get chicken bites if you visit here they are delicious! I will definitely return when I’m back in the area and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quick bite to eat while in the area. The staff were also nice and friendly!

The worst fish that I have pretty much, ever had.... I know it didn't go down well when I commented on the over the top prices of your bag of chips, but to serve an undercooked fish if you can call it a fish, as there was more oil in the container than the meat of the fish... Going on how miserable the lady serving was, I can only presume this take away is under new ownership, as I have been going to Porthmadog for years, and always went to all ports for dinner... Never again, and I drove all the way from Criccieth just to get dinner, before heading north, to home... The only good point I can say is that the mushy peas were really good, but it's pretty hard to screw something up, out of a tin..

This is a burger I just paid £3.5 for. Absolutely disgusting no offer of salad or sauce. Got chips too just to realise that they had no salt or vinegar on them. Seriously the worse meal ever. Avoid
